I wish I had better things to say about this dealership but in my experience they are no better than side street used car dealers.
Bought a 64 F100 and did what I thought was a pretty good vetting between all the pictures and especially direct questioning to the salesperson since I was going on good faith along with the information. (Yes I know I could have had it surveyed).
Was transported in an enclosed trailer and delivered to me in Florida. As I attempted to drive it the 5 miles to home I couldn't get it into 2nd gear and had to pull over 4 times on the way. The radio and horn didn't work as well as running rough and very rich. No one can tell me they were not aware of these issues in spite of them telling me EVERYTHING on the truck.
If you intend to do business with these shysters and believe what they tell you it is your own fault just as it was mine. OK Gateway you dumped a lemon on me and got rid of one to collect your commission and am sure you will sleep at night. Things have a way of balancing out. Enjoy my money for now.
The bottom line is they cannot be trusted to tell you the truth, period. Do business with them at your own risk !

I had been looking over the years for a clean original Jeep CJ7. I discovered Gateway Classics recently, and saw a Jeep that met my requirements. I called and spoke with Chase. First, Chase gave me all the background on the vehicle and based on our conversation, I proceeded with the purchase. All the paperwork, shipping and transfer were fast and efficient. My Jeep arrived the same week at my home in Indiana. The vehicle was exactly as shown on the site, and exceeded my expectations. My family and I will really enjoy this over the years. The process was quick and simple. I would recommend working with this team!

The customer service with Gateway Classic is terrible. Tommy is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I have never been spoken to by a salesman the way he spoke to me when I decided to not have them list my vehicle. I decided not to have them help sell my truck because they price gouge their customers. Make sure and read through their contract before considering using them. Their percentage is more than excessive. If I used them, I would have to pay out of my pocket for my car to be sold.

Before purchasing, do your due diligence! I purchased a car from them about a month ago. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but they have little knowledge about the vehicles that they are selling. I was told that it was leaking and that it wouldn’t cost me over $500 to repair. Once I asked for their mechanic to do it, they said that it was no longer leaking. After about a week, the clutch went out. As I was having it repaired, I learned that the bell housing was cracked, the transmission was leaking, spark plugs weren’t plugged in properly. The temperature housing was leaking, the oil gasket was leaking. These are all problems that weren’t disclosed. I’ve just gotten my car back and after driving it two days, the motor locked and needs to be replaced. I purchased this thing for $74k as is, but had I done my due diligence some of these unforeseen problems would’ve been discovered. I encourage all to have an inspector INSPECT!

Initially great customer service but after they had my car for 9 months without a sale, I said, no problem. Once I called to schedule my car pick up, I got the rudest response from their customer service, I think his name was Thomas. I was not expecting rude behavior from simply wanting to pick my car up. He was upset because I wanted my own car back. Ridiculous!
Took me all the energy to not cause a scene when I arrived. He hid behind his desk and another more kind rep took care of me. Tough and disrespectful over the phone, but when you show up realizes he’s not about that life. Like bro, really.
Never do business with these guys. Sell it on marketplace or offer up. Never do business with anyone that presents kindness when you give them what you want, When THEY were the ones to reach out to you, but rude to YOU when thing don’t go their way.

Sales person was rude treated me like I couldn't afford to buy one of their cars. Seemed like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. Probably would have been a lot more receptive if he knew I drove up in a six-figure car. Don't judge a book by their cover because you never know who just walked in your door. I will never buy a car from these people

Overall not a very pleasant process. I’ve been dealing with them for over a month and I’m still not in a good mood. I think they could handle the process a lot smoother and a heck of a lot faster. I am a collector of classic cars and I don’t believe I’ll be doing business with them in the future Because the purchase of this classic car is not Completed yet I’d be very cautious if I were you dealing with them at any of their locations
