Nice showroom and display. My one star came down to the appraisers attitude from star to finish. I understand you deal with hundreds of phone calls and people coming in and out but there is no reason to come across as though I was a nuisance to have been there to get an appraisal. I had no issue with appraisal value given but I had an issue of getting talked down to as though I know nothing about the vehicle I brought in. I too own a business and would be greatly upset if my staff treated customers this way. Thank you for your time and I wish you much continued success.Lastly, for a place that sells mid to high range cars you would think they could at least clean the bathroom.

I recently sold one of my cars through Gateway and it was a very simple straightforward process. They responded to my phone calls and inquiries on the status of the vehicle and kept me appraised through the selling process. I felt it was reasonable, and I would use them again.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a dealer. Similar to many on Yelp. They agreed to sell my car for a agreed upon price. two days later a salesman Lonnie I believe was his name called me, trashed my car that it was over priced. When I told him I would come pick it up he said I cant they have 90 days to sell it but it wont sell. I called the home office and the lady told me I could pay a huge commission to pick up my car now. They used a bait and switch. Absolutely unethical and crooks. I have to wait 90 days still to pick up my car. Who knows what they will do in the meantime with it based on their practices.

They were amazing!!! I was able to surprise my husband with his dream car and Gateway made it happen. Answered my questions thoroughly and promptly and made buying from them out of state a breeze!!

Spoke with them about putting my camaro on consignment there and accurately describe it as a straight but two small dings in RR quater panel from and LR had a small (2") primer spot. Explain Id have to get some people to drive it up there and drop it off from a couple hours away... They suggest I commit a fraudulent act with AAA to get a free delivery . . They dont go into any details about the car has to have a near spotless exterior or explain to me their criteria . .Anyhow I arrange delivery and then after me spending about $250 to get it to them them reject the car.Vehicle has never been wrecked, has less than 100k miles, AC works, nice wheels & tires etc..

We bought a 1992 Corvette from Gateway. We live on Cape Cod .This is very chancy buying unseen , the pictures and video told the story . A 31 year old vette that looks like right out of the showroom, NO rust anywhere. It was a great experience Chase and the guys are knowlegable and very pleseant on the phone.Again great experience . Bought a car here, made it 20 miles to get gas and the car wouldn't start back up. It was not just the battery. I would highly advise anyone buying a car here to either find a different dealership or to have the vehicle thoroughly inspected. Seems like I'm not the only one who's had issues at this dealership and corporate does not seem to care about its reputation nor its customers.

Impressed with their professionalism. We arrived with our classic car after a two hour drive on a busy Saturday. Josh took the time to welcome us and explain the procedures in a very easy to understand way. We will update this post when vehicle is sold.UPDATE: SOLD !!!

Took our 32 ford coupe to Gateway Classics in Dallas. Dealt with Tommy, he was really nice to start, and quick to respond and answer questions. The car sold 24 hours after being listed, but they took 3 full weeks and 1 day to contact us about our check. After car sold, and I assume Tommy got his commission, he wouldn't respond to anything. The communication was not good between any of the staff. They may say they don't charge fees, but they surely get their cut since they take your price and up it 24%. They could be honest about the fee they do charge. I understand they need to make a profit but do not sell it as they do not charge anything. I will not be using them to sell anything in the future.

I had an extremely pleasant experience! I found my dream car and Johnny jumped right on it to make sure I did everything I needed to do to ensure it didn't get sold. He was very informative during the entire process. My only complaint is the transportation company that was used. Black Mustang Transportation company delivered my car to the wrong address, approximately 2 miles away. When I let the driver know he was at the wrong address, he replied "Well the car is off the truck onw, you'll have to come get it".

After a very recent and terrible experience with a local dealership, the communication and customer service received from Johnny and Chase was refreshing and much appreciated! We had a couple snags (on our end) with the purchasing process which Johnny and Chase handled smoothly, switfty and calmly. They delivered on all their promises and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. THIS is how an auto dealership should function! I'd give more than 5 stars if possible! Thank you, again!

Hello from Australia - I just bought my first car through Gateway in Dallas and it's being shipped down under at this moment. Excellent experience - the process of paying for the car was a bit challenging but was worked out by the dealership. I have NEVER bought a car site unseen, but felt good about buying the car and hopefully when seeing the car in a couple months my feelings won't change. If all goes well I hope to buy another car from Gateway next year. If you're looking for a classic car investment. Give Chase at Gateway Dallas a call. G'day from the land down under!!!UPDATE - the car has just arrived here in Australia and it was in excellent shape. Great job in selling me this car goes to Chase and the staff at Gateway Dallas. I will contact them again if I want to buy another classic car.

I listed my Datsun with them several months ago and they selected the price. After several months of it not selling because the price was was too high, Tommy started getting rude and making comments like "the car is over priced." I explained that they made the price but I agreed to lower it. Tommy was getting more rude every month so I decided to discontinue using them. At one point he was arguing with me in the middle of the sales office and trashing my car. Their fees are ridiculously high and they are super pushy! Stay far away!
