I have been a loyal customer at this store for many years, along with my family. However, my recent visit on Monday, August 26th, was deeply disappointing, distressing and it would be my last one. As a Latina, I felt targeted and discriminated against during my shopping experience.
While browsing for Texas-themed gifts, I noticed an employee following and watching me closely. When I proceeded to pay, I was asked to verify my identity, something that has never happened to me or any of my family members before. The employee informed me that ID verification was required for credit card payments, yet I have never witnessed this policy being enforced on other customers.
This experience has left me feeling hurt and judged solely based on my appearance and ethnicity. My family, friends, and I will no longer be shopping at this store, and I urge others to consider taking their business elsewhere. There are many other stores in the DFW area that offer wonderful Texas-themed merchandise without the prejudice.
Being profiled in such a manner is a deeply painful experience, as it attacks your very identity and dignity. I hope this review helps raise awareness and encourages the store to reflect on their practices.

This place is a goldmine for any sort of gift for literally any occasion from something touristy, silly or something quite beautiful to be treasured. They have it all.
Huge footprint, clean, brightly lit and the kindest people work there too!
Was visiting from out of town and this place is a shining star in Grapevine!

It was a wonderful place with lots to see and buy,, from wind chimes to real nice soaps,, even clothing,, it was a great stop on our way through Main Street in Grapevine

Very disappointed in our visit to Grapevine. Went to the Christmas Capital to enjoy the beauty of Christmas but instead was met with bullies and racial profiling. Security at Grapevine's market on main pulled 2 of my kids (the only Mexican boys in the store at the time) aside into a corner, after following them around the market for a good 10 minutes, and trying to make them say they stole something when they didn't. After my boys emptied their pockets for the security guards the security guard told them they caught it on camera and they needed to tell them that they stole something. When my boys said "we didn't steal anything and we emptied out ALL of our pockets" the security guards cracked a joke and laughed at them and told them they could go. Then proceeded to tell them, when they walked out to find my girls, that they were going the wrong way in THEIR Store. If you're Mexican and happen to be in Grapevine's market on main, just be aware of what you might encounter while you're there.

This is a great store on Main Street. Good location and has small booths inside - each with a nice variety of things to check out for visitors. A ton. Of Christmas decorations make it nice for holiday.

Called spoke to Tawana - She could not have been any ruder and hung up on me. A few weeks later I called back asked for Frank the owner or the A/P department, got hung up on again. I called back and left a very nice message on their voicemail. She called back using foul language. If you are a vendor - Beware -
