Food portions are good and they have a variety so it's good for a quick brunch/lunch. Wouldn't recommend it for larger groups of people. The dining spaces are more intimate. Please fix the French onion soup, it was unappetizing with one chunk of cheese only and it did not melt with the rest of the soup.

I love the food, the desserts and not to mention the special and sweet attention. The girl who helped us is called Aby, she is very kind, helpful and charming. In less than a few minutes she was in charge of making us smile and delivering our order quickly and efficiently. I always go back!! Thank you!

I ordered a Valentine cheese cake on their online site for the special day and I paid a 20% tip for it. But when I got there as my pick up time, I was told that there were no cheese cake left, I can take a chocolate cake, that's it. No words like " I'm sorry about this" , no explanation why it happened. Just cold and not friendly service at all. So disappointed.

I am not sure what is happening to La Madeleine at 114 Grapevine, but the service was really bad and lousy. They a were no as friendly and they used to be, they would not refill the coffee despite promising they would do several times. The food was still good but the service kind of ruined the

Update: Gave it one more try-- no improvement. Horribly understaffed, resulting in poor service and ridiculous wait times. Food not good like it used to be--sad to see a good place decline...Food was terrible-- served cold and stale. Caesar salad was drowning in dressing with not even one full crouton. Staff was apathetic. This will be my last visit, at least to this location.

Under staffed and not an enjoyable experience. Tables needed to be bused, and due to low staffing issues, food took entirely too long to arrive.

A nice lunch with colleagues.The food was excellent. I highly recommend the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and the tomato basil soup. The soup has a really nice savory flavor and thick texture. The lettuce was fresh and the chicken nicely seasoned and hot.At the entryway there was a little confusion as to where to go when dining in versus taking out but once we realized where to go we watched place our order to find a table.It's a pleasant restaurant with plenty of seating and cosy corners.We came at a very busy time and maybe a bit of understaffing that day as more then 50% of the open tables had dishes to be cleared and wiped, and we actively saw someone trying their best to get to all of them.We found a cosy spot and our food was delivered in a timely manner despite the busy day, compliments to the chef :) The lady that brought our food was a little flustered and thanked us for waiting while it was so busy. We made sure to let her know we were absolutely fine and appreciated the hard work and delicious food.Definitely recommend!

I used to love this place. Haven't been here in years, but it's really gone downhill! Other people I've talked to have said the exact same thing. I got a bowl of French onion soup for dine-in. Took 15 minutes to arrive. Was served in a to-go container (they were "washing all the bowls"). Expected bread on top with some nice melted cheese. Instead, there were some soggy croutons and a couple of pieces of not-melted shredded cheese. Was just awful! And cost $7. Definitely will not return.
