I drove in and purchased the 8 series BMW and wanted to bring to your attention that I am debating what my next move will be….my salesman named Shane made a couple of pricing errors that we ultimately worked through, but the one thing that I may have to do is retain an attorney in Grapevine based on what he said to close the deal for me, he said the car was out of the initial factory warranty but the good news was that it still had a 6year/70000 mile powertrain warranty. At that point, I was convinced I was protected with any issues that would be catastrophic engine, transmission, etc. the car only had 24k miles and was a 2022. Found out today that was not true, that was incorrect information. So, had i known that, I would have passed on the purchase I detrimentally relied on his comment to close the deal…I’m from Louisiana, so I will have to get a local attorney in Grapevine to remedy this major error on Shane’s part. I even purchased an extended warranty for glass coverage fusion. I think having a local attorney in Grapevine getting involved starting with letters would be an embarrassment to your dealership. I want what I was told, Shane seems to be a slippery guy, but this will be addressed with the dealership by getting a local attorney involved to obtain what I was told for an equitable solution.

Little late on this review:
I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from Lexus while shopping for a vehicle a few months ago. I had been corresponding via email with a sales representative, Brian Clissold, throughout the summer and scheduled a visit to the dealership one Saturday. I was specifically interested in a green GX 550, which the dealership had on the lot that day.
While speaking with Brian, another customer approached the vehicle and he immediately diverted his attention to them, despite our prior arrangement to view vehicles. Brian also did not offer us the opportunity to test drive the actual vehicle on the lot, stating that it belonged to the dealership. Additionally, his demeanor was unfriendly, and he repeatedly attempted to push other vehicles that I had clearly expressed no interest in.
As a result, my husband and I left the dealership feeling frustrated and annoyed by the lack of professionalism and poor customer service. We went to Porsche right after and ended up finding a vehicle there on that day. I do not recommend this Lexus dealership—the level of service was unprofessional and disappointing at best.

Again! What is wrong with dealerships and poor service. Don’t bother to call, they do not answer the phones. As soon as I get my vehicle home from this shop in Grapevine, that will be it. I will find a dealership that has a decent customer service department and transfer my service. I have given Park Place of Grapevine all I can give. I am so upset and disgusted with their lack of processes and horrible service. I will be trading my vehicle, but it will not be with this dealership or even Lexus for that matter. Love the vehicle, but the service center is a joke. I am done. I tried. Time to move.

We have purchased 8 vehicles from Park Place Lexus and it has always been a great experience until today. I made an appointment with a loaner car for a slow leak in my tire. I drive the flagship LS500 and when I arrived there were no loaner cars and nobody to take me 10 miles home!!! Then I was told my tires were 5 1/2 years old when my vehicle is 4 years old!!! Their customer service used to be exemplary but is now abominable!!! We will never buy another car from this dealership ever again! My husband traded in his RX350 for a BMW X5 and the Sewell service is over the top…

I schedule a service appointment at 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:32 am. I waited 10 mins and no one in the service area helped me. I asked attendant about being helped and he said he would find someone. Several people parked behind me were being helped. I asked why they were being helped but not me. He said they asked for specific agents to help them. 20 minutes still waiting and no help. At 9:55 am I left. Obviously, making an appointment does not matter. This is really poor customer service. Like going to the DMV. My wife said at the Honda dealer she gets helped immediately as soon as she pulls in.

This is a word of caution for those planning on buying a Pre-owned Lexus, or any vehicle from Park Place Lexus at Grapevine. I am sharing my experience so you can be prepared when you’re buying your car.
I drove a Lexus for about 9 years, which was recently totaled in a rear-end collision. When deciding which one to buy next, Lexus was the obvious choice. My first car was from Sewell Lexus and I loved their customer service. This time around, we were looking for a more specific model - a six-cylinder RX and it showed Park Place had it. So that brought us to Park Place.
We liked a car we saw, a 2021 RX 450h. The car had 80,000 miles on it, but we knew about Lexus reliability. The only reason we went forward with it regardless was that the car looked in good condition on the inside. The outside was not cleaned well as they had just gotten the car. The next day we come to sign the paperwork, and they take the car in for their “thorough inspection “. During the signing, we got information about different packages and the salesperson was really really pushing the Windshield package. We turned it down and left with the car as satisfied and happy as we could be with a pre-owned vehicle.
Now exactly 5 days after we got the car, I’ve noticed these dust particles on the windshield. Hmmm, the windshield fluid didn’t take care of it. I get a rag to clean it and on looking closely, they’re not dust, they’re minute chips all across the windshield. I reached out to the salesperson if this was found in their inspection and what we can do about it. No answer to that question. I get the answer that I brought an as-is car and that’s that.
The decision to buy an as-is car comes when you think that the condition of the car is disclosed to you transparently. The high mileage, we knew that and we willingly went for it. Damaged windshield that missed their “thorough inspection “ or maybe it was noticed hence the adamant pushing for the windshield package at the signing. Now you’re just left with a feeling of being cheated.
Please don’t fall for the shiny outside or fancy waiting lounge. It comes down to integrity and accountability when selling a car, even a pre-owned one, and Park Place fell short on those things. I will direct you to the Sewell dealership that runs its business with the aforementioned standards.
