When we arrived were told they could not find our reservation, that we did not have one despite showing them the reservation on our open table account, only to later find out our reservation was given away to someone else, someone else's bill was on our open table account, including kids meal and alcohol. We were three adults with no children who do not drink. Food took forever to come out despite being not very busy when we arrived. When food did arrive it was incorrect, not what was ordered at all, had to send back and by the time our replacement came out did not even get to eat, everyone else was finished eating so had to ask for a to go box for it. The bill took forever to get to us and when it did, noticed a ‘to go fee' on it! Ended up being late to our movie due to the whole debacle. Worst restaurant experience in a long time! Did not take it out on the poor server though who was harried and behind, running around the entire time.

Our water Frank was amazing! We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and he took really good care of us! Totally recommend everyone going there for their birthday!

This place is filthy. The bathrooms are so disgusting and don't have TP or soap. They appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time. We were served a glass of water with a used sugar packet at the bottom. I drank some of the water before I noticed it since the restaurant is dark. The food quality is marginal and super expensive.

Very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance seems a bit dated but it is kid themed and they all seemed to enjoy it. The thunderstorm was a bit intense for little kids. The portion size on the cheese curd appetizer was a bit skimpy but they tasted OK. I got the python pasta (chicken Alfredo) which is very garlicky, which is totally fine with me. The chicken was juicy and tender and had a good char on it. The fish tacos were a hit. The bourbon meat loaf was the only downer at the table. The chocolate volcano dessert was a good size and was a fun presentation. I think the cake was supposed to be warm but wasn't. The good score was influenced by low expectations but it wasn't bad for what it is.

This was such a great experience for my 6-year-old grandson! He ABSOLUTELY loved it and said it was better than Chuck E Cheese! Great family time and incredibly nice staff! Our waitress, Amy was really sweet.

Earlier today (Saturday, September 27, 2025), my family and I went to this restaurant for dinner. One of my family members wanted the Chimi-Cha-Chas by itself, but was told by our server, " Liz" that we have to be a member to get it. I had the TROPICAL SALMON & COCONUT SHRIMP. The salmon was good, but the coconut was a little sweet. The ambience, as usual, dark with the sounds of thunder and the wild animatronics. Overall, I paid for the very expensive "Ok" food and the rainforest experience.

The ambiance and food were great. My waiter was constantly watching the game out of the bar and looked like he had been out too late the night before. The restrooms were so disgusting I could smell them around the corner from the closed doors.

Restaurant was warm AC was not working correctly. Service was great. Food wasn't any better than chilis. We mainly went for our 4 grandchildren to have the experience. We probably wouldn't go again.

Rainforest Café - Grapevine Fun for kids and kids at heart! Expect to pay $30+ per person. Food isn't great. As the name of this place, you do feel like you're inside a rainforest. Staff were good, not great. Our waiter came by once to take our order and once to bring check. Food was decent but way overpriced. House salad was bare minimum and wilted. Soup was very small and cold. Anaconda Pasta wasn't too much to write home about. The menu option is very limited. The décor was decent, as well, but everything in here is 1990's original. Some of the animatronics were too scary for 2025. The rainforest sounds you'd expect to hear are also limited. The thunder and lightning effects are also outdated. The music was loud and wasn't fun to talk loudly to hear each other. They need to revamp this location and for the money they're charging, redecorate and update their '90's animals. If you're coming here, it's a once in the blue moon type of visit. Be sure to bring lots of money as food is overpriced. Between two people we paid $60.

Overpriced food! Quality of food not great. Dirty bathrooms. Crowded and service suffered for it.
