I love Rockledge Park. It’s the perfect spot in the morning if you want some quiet time (and a private beach) all to yourself. It’s beautiful during the day, watching the boats and people on the lake, and at night this place has the most beautiful sunsets. If you’re in a happy space in your mind, or even a funk and need somewhere to go and think it out, or just soak up our Earth’s beauty and God’s creation — this is it.

MUST CARRY SLIPPERS AND BUG SPRAY!!!
I came here on Saturday for the sunset view. Reached at 6 pm, that was very early lol!
10$ parking, plenty of space to park your car and soak in the views. Plenty of seating too. Rental kayaks and paddle-boards available. But there were lots and lots of bugs and insects that bit me. I wish I had not worn shorts. Also, I wanted to dip my feet in the water but its very difficult to walk on those tiny stones. One should wear or carry crocs or something for this. Needless to say, sunset was gorgeous.

Don’t waste your time or money on this place! There’s absolutely nothing worth the $12 entry fee—no play area for kids, no shade, no trees and it feels unsafe for children. There’s no proper parking, and the lake shore is filthy and inaccessible, littered with Beer drink bottles. The only facilities are portable washrooms. If you go early, you’ll just end up baking in the sun. Save your Gas/Toll/Entry fee.
Playground: No Playground.
Dog-friendliness: Nope!
Picnic area: #lol. Dirty Place
