Amazing work done from a very capable team at Stellar. I have used them in the past in my previous home and they continue to do Stellar work. My work involved updating my wiring at my home in Highland Park... installing two equipment racks and providing full automation for my home including the AV, lighting, shades et al. The team finished the work ahead of schedule, and provided the training once the job was done. The quality of the techs was amazing.. I know they also provide 24/7 technical support that I have used in my previous home, and will continue to use that service in this as well. I love a company that values service over sale, and I have to give them a 5-star rating all around. Thanks to Shane, Chris and entire team !!

Incompetent and unprofessionalPlease listen to other reviewers and do not go with this company, I have spent close to 60k with this company and still not have working home theater system. Their sales / design consultant Jeff is full of lies. They initially made it sound like the entire project will be done in a couple of weeks, but I am waiting for months now. Each time response is the they either missed a product, or a shipment is lost. Jeff is so unprofessional that each time there is a miss he will start blaming either his team or worse myself.Their team itself is so incompetent that they come each day, fit one equipment, wait for weeks before get the rest. Even after fitting, things do not work and I had to call them several times only to hear that they are busy with other projects and it will several more weeks to come and make things working.On top Jeff will continue to force a Control 4 system on you which is not only a poor product (see review on iOS and Android), it is a gateway to charge more subscription and support costs for ever.Avoid this company like a plague.

Please do your through diligence about their service first. They did not even return my calls in first three months (warranty period). I called/texted them multiple times including the owner, Shane Bala. But they never returned or fixed the problem. Very very bad customer service experience. Here is a funny part.. Once the warranty was over, they responded. I reminded them that this is an old issue from the beginning that was never addressed. But they did not budge and insisted on $200/hr service charge. Also, once you get Control 4 automation system from them, you are stuck. Even though you own the instrument, they will not release the programming password to you. So you are stuck with them for ever and have to pay them $200/hr for any programming changes. Absolutely awful!!

These people are not professional at all. We signed up with them in 2018 for multimedia and control 4 setup for security as well. First of all, they are overpriced--its our mistake we did not realize that. But they completed our project after 1 year. They offered price match when I wanted to buy my own Tvs and never honored it. They double billed us and also made us buy extra stuff which we returned. They never paid for ay of these amounting to $3000 to 4000. Also their system is more complicated than the newer systems coming now. We contacted them multiple times, email, phones and also personally but in vain over the last 2 years They just don't want to return our money. Beware!

This place is a rip off. I referred a friend to have their TV mounted. The company wanted to charge $300 to "look at it" then another $200 to do the actual service. This place is a rip off and not worth the money. To mount your TV is a flat rate of $150. If this overcharged 3 times the market price, then your going ripped on everything else. Also, the owner was very unprofessional asking my female friend very personal questions. I'll call the cops if they come by her house.

Bryan at the Grapevine location put together our media room package quickly and beat out other competitors on price. The installation team was on time, professional, walked me through our capabilities, and ensured the job was done correctly.

We have been loyal customers since 2013 and couldn't ask for better customer service in person and on the phone. They worked within our budget. Over the years we have updated our TVs, other equipment and gaming devices. Each time we have had support from customer service!

Used these guys for the second time..last time was 8 years ago when they were STARLIGHT. Still the same owner, great work and service! Had them update our media room which the kids now enjoy with 4K, and also give us an automated home with whole house audio and music and update our outdoor too. Great service and love the 24/7 support they now have. Highly recommend!

I shopped around quite a bit! Went to some custom stores and Big box stores in the area. No one matched the knowledge and design experience as these guys at Stellar. Had my Theater fully done.

Sales experience was great. Got a full rendering for a room conversion project. I did a full room conversion of my Game room to a Media Room and I should say the finished product looked exactly like my rendering.

I chose Stellar after I went into the Allen Store and saw that they actually had products to show me unlike many of the other companies I called. Once I talked to the Sales staff and worked with the outstanding installers I am so glad I let Stellar install my Home Automation system.

Not impressed with this company at all in Dallas. I moved into a house where the previous owner had been using their service. I called them 5 times and left 3 messages with people to inquire about understanding what the previous owner had and what the process was to switch everything over, and they kept telling me someone would call me back, but never did!! Doesn't seem like an effective way to run a business IMO. I consider myself a pretty patient customer, but this is a bit outrageous. Moving on to a new vendor.
