Timberline - with the Dr’s Hill - - is an awesome veterinary practice. I’ve stayed with the practice when took over and our family has absolutely no regrets. The annual plan is great - especially with a new puppy. They’ve loved and cared for my sweet Liberty since she was a not so little baby ❤️❤️. They genuinely care and take the time with each patient to ensure the best care!
Wholeheartedly recommend :).

I’m so glad to have found Dr John and Dr Melinda to care for my Boston Terrier. They have given me excellent advice to keep her healthy and when a little issue has popped up they have always followed up to make sure it is resolved- very kind and caring. The best!

Recently I took my 7 year old GSD to Timberline Veterinary Hospital. He was vomiting and not eating. The care and concern of the techs and Dr. Mindy Hill were immediately apparent. Within 10 minutes they advised that he had a high fever, was dehydrated, and they took X-rays to see if there was an intestinal blockage. They advised to put him on IV fluids and take him to an Animal Hospital for a sonogram or other recommended tests. Let's face it, veterinary services are extremely expensive, with or without pet health insurance. Before performing any services like X-rays and IV catheter, they informed me how much the bill would be. I realized all services would be cheaper at the Vet Office rather than at an Emergency Animal Hospital, so I opted to have him cared for at this vet office. We came back the next day for follow up and Dr. John Hill examined my dog and he also gave me great detailed analysis of the symptoms and solutions. After being on antibiotics and IV fluids, my Best Friend is feeling better. I highly recommend Timberline Veterinary Hospital. I find both Drs Hill to be competent and caring. I would have no qualms about taking my pet to Timberline Veterinary Hospital again. As you can see it's highly rated by almost every customer!

Timberline Veterinary Hospital, led by Drs. John and Mindy Hill, provides exceptional care. The clinic is clean and equipped with modern technology and a friendly & efficient staff. Drs. Hill’s expertise and genuine compassion for animals are evident. They take time to thoroughly examine pets, answer questions, and ensure owners understand the care process. They let you know up front what the costs are before performing the services. I highly recommend Timberline Veterinary Hospital for their professionalism, dedication, and outstanding service. But the number one reason is for both Drs. Hill’s skills and remarkable genuine compassion for the needs of the animals. My pet and I left feeling well cared for and appreciated, and I am confident that others will have the same positive experience.

Dr. John Hill is awesome and took good care of Cookie, our Chihuahua. The staff there helped me pick out good food after her procedure, and she loves it. Two thumbs up. Thanks again.

Genuinely outraged and disgusted - TLDR: Dr. Hill is taking advantage of my elderly grandmother. Don't trust them for end of life care with your pets.
My elder grandmother is currently struggling (her husband is declining in health and in the last stages of his life) and brings her two dogs to this vet practice. Both dogs have terminal illnesses: One has cancer, and the other has diabetes, is blind, deaf, has lost all of her hair, etc. Both dogs have to be given medicine to increase their appetite, as both struggle to eat and maintain interest in food.
Last week, the dog that is blind couldn't stand up - she brought the dog in, and rather than assuring my grandmother that she had done everything possible and allowing the dog to pass peacefully, Dr. Hill has my grandmother do over $500 worth of diagnostics, including x-rays!! They found nothing wrong - the dog was able to stand later, but went home crying in pain.
My mother pulled Dr. Hill and his team aside and asked if he would advocate for the dogs, and engage in more palliative care, and reassure my grandmother (who is CLEARLY struggling) that she has done a good job and it's okay to let them go - he flat-out refused. When I spoke to my grandmother, she said he will not advise her either way about letting the dogs pass with dignity, and expressed that she cannot personally make that choice.
When I was navigating end of life care with my own soul-dog, having a vet who was explicitly an advocate for my dog was the best possible thing. My vet straight up told me you take care of your feelings and I will help you continue to assess quality of life and be an advocate for your dog.
I truly believe this practice and Dr. Hill are engaging in unethical behavior and taking advantage of a difficult situation. My grandmother is spending THOUSANDS a month on petcare. She is on medicaid and cannot afford this! Dr. Hill is running her credit up and it feels EXTREMELY exploitative. Further, I literally would not trust them to provide end of life care for any animal - they do not take into account quality of life standards and will not provide the necessary support during that difficult time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I love this vet. They are so good with my Rottie. An extremely friendly staff and the Doctor always explains things in such a way that you can make the best decisions for your pet. Also I find them to be reasonably priced which is a perk. I'm so glad I found this vet!

I have been going to Timberline Vet for years (4 dogs worth of service), even before the Hill Dr’s were there.
The doctors and staff are always caring and knowledgeable about many areas I’ve been concerned over. Super friendly and don’t try to “oversell” what is not needed.
I would always recommend them!!
