Booked some plastic uhaul moving boxes via uhaul's website. Got a call from uhaul confirming that I'd be picking them up the day of. Drove 20 minutes to this location to pick them up and waited in line only to be told that someone else took them and they have only 7 of the 18 boxes I had ordered.Very sloppy system, total waste of time. Not apologetic. Probably happens all the time.

Terrible customer service from this location. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headaches that will come financially and mentally with dealing with the staff here.

Staff - Office staff is unbelievably disinterested in the customer experience. I actually felt like I was an imposition picking up the car hauler. Outside staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Quite a dichotomy. One of the tires on the car hauler was under inflated.

Do not use this location! It’s a money racket. We took a picture of the gas gauge when we rented it as well as the mileage and returned it at 60 miles, which is what we told them to estimate at checkout and also we filled the tank to the exact spot it was at when rented. In addition to the normal rental fee and fees that are added, they charged me $20 more. When confronted with why, I was told we brought back the truck 1 gallon of gas short (which I have pictures to prove otherwise) for $8 and that they only charged me for 50 miles, not 60 at checkout so, they added the other 10 miles at .89 each. Last time I did match, .89 x 10 equaled $8.90 and gas wasn’t $8 a gallon. Will not use this location if they have nothing better to do than create reasons to charge more.

This is the best U-Haul. These team members should all be promoted for their willingness to solve problems and help customers: Leyton, Aliochenia, Samantha, James, and Kyle.

Marisol the general manager called me asking when I would return the truck . I let her know unfortunately I need to return it to a different location in San Antonio due to the fact I have a family emergency and need to fly home .my child is sick in hospital. She tells me it will be double the price . I said that is 100% totally fine , you can charge my card. After she proceeds to give me a lecture about how that is not allowed , then proceeds to question what I’m using the truck for . This is for work a moving company I told her. She patronizes me and talked to me like I’m dumb after I told her to charge my card I don’t care about the cost . So I wonder if she knows what the word EMERGENCY even means. I spend thousands of dollars every month at uhaul for my business and this is so insensitive and not right to talk to customers like this . She then hangs up on me without even telling me the amount to authorize. The cost I told her doesn’t matter it is emergency but to speak to a regular customer like that is not ok.

Have rented many times from this location. Trucks, trailers, and moving equipment and always have a good experience.

I am writing the review for the contracted labor that Uhaul sponsors. 2 movers showed up shirtless and sweaty. They damaged everything from doors and doorways to gouging my wood banister stairway. Walls were scuffed and gouged and multiple pieces of broken furniture. I had 2 dozen moving blankets and by the time the truck was 1/2 loaded not 1 was used. Wood on wood, stacked to the ceiling. I had to tell them to stop what they were doing and to leave. No insurance, no responsibility and no care in the world. Don't use Uhaul labor marketplace to hire your help.

They wait till the customer actually shows up, to tell them that they don't rent out the pickup trucks & vans to customers with out-of-state Driver's Licenses. They did this to me 2 days in a row, through various excuses, inspite of my reservation, costing me a pretty penny in transportation costs. They then had the audacity to try to upsell me on the larger, more expensive trucks. Avoid this place & its shady business practices.

We needed a truck on a Saturday afternoon and I looked on line and found this place. I could tell they were having a busy day but Kyle Wright was on top of things. He was very friendly and courteous gave us a breakdown of the charges and answered all our questions. We didn't find exactly the truck size we wanted but he advised on other options available and gave us a good deal for it too. The service was quick too.

The office staff was so friendly and quick to help. Some were really young but still had excellent customer service skills and were very professional and had a great, upbeat attitude. I will definitely go there again.

This place used to be a nice clean facility however over the last couple of years it has gone down dramatically not only with staff but with the facilities and quality of services as well. I have lived near and used this facility for most of life. Recently this storage facility has turned into a breeding ground for insects the likes of which I have never seen. Upon opening my unit most recently there was a layer of bugs that made it hard to tell where the floor began and the the bugs ended. They have had signs everywhere asking clients not to bring mattresses or food for the last 2 years which seems reasonable enough however the bug problem only seems to worsen and on top of that they raised prices to almost double what they were before. Avoid at all costs and save yourself the headache

Use Penske Truck rentals unless you want to wait in ridiculous lines and terrible customer service

When a customer is told "you should have" as an opening to a complaint about the fuel level when they rent a "return it full" vehicle, one can predict there will be zero empathy or objective handling of the customer's complaint. This was the case in my van rental today at the William D. Tare location in Grapevine, Tx. I trusted that thevrental tank was full..."return if with a full tank" were the final words that registered with me. We drove away and as we were entering the public roadway, a text arrived. I could see it was from uhal, but of course couldn't read it without compromising safety. As the experience turned out, is was a reminder to complete the vehicle "walk around"..which in my prior rentals gas ALWAYS been conducted WITH the agent handling the rental. Tge DISCLAIMER was to place responsibility ON ME, to ensure the gauge showed "full". My view as the Customer is that the VENDOR endure the tank is full prior to renting the vehicle. Unless of course, it turns out that they just accept the return Customersl word that the tank is full. Even if I HAD advised it wasn't, what would they, could they do at that point, except fill the tank and absorb TGE cost if U-hal's failure to verify on return by the previous renterunless the business policy is DESIGNED to fault the customers that trust the tank was full upon rental, the "return it full" parting comment clearly indicates it IS full. It WASN'T, and for a 16 mile rental I paid (my fault for not stopping at 1 1/2 gallons (generously 16 miles worth of gas). So the Customer pats (literally) fir U-haul's failure to verify a full tank? This is NOT Customer Service when you alienate a Customer by placing responsibility that should be the VENDOR'S. Huge disappointment!
