The state-of-the-art working studio and attached fine art gallery offer a really cool and pretty experience. Visitors can watch live glassblowing demonstrations in the back and browse the small, clean shop filled with fun, local blown art and several beautiful offerings for purchase. The studio provides hands-on, wonderful classes where participants can help create items like stemless wine glasses, pumpkins, or ornaments. The actual process during these help create events is quick and supervised by super knowledgeable, polite, and respectful artists. Participants get to pick their color and assist, learning fun facts about the ancient art form. The resulting pieces are solid, heavy, and thick. While class tickets can be pricey, the experience is memorable and highly recommended. The friendly, inviting, and prompt staff creates a relaxed, comfortable, and entertaining atmosphere. Very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed how educational the experience was. I was a little nervous in the beginning with the hands on experience, however that was quickly eased with the crew that was working there.

I finally got to visit Vetro and watched a Cooking On Glass presentation! Yes, hamburgers and hot dogs on molten glass! Very interesting!
