Stay away from this place. I have had a storage unit in this place for close to 10 years. These new owners are awful. They have drastically increased rent and added ridiculous fees without actually doing any upgrades to my unit. They have definitely worked on the property, adding more units so that they can make more money from more tenants. On top of the fees, forget actually talking to anyone or getting a response. These people have an automated system which will never actually direct you to a human being. If you send an email, they will not respond. Bad customer service!!!! Actually.... there is no customer service whatsoever. Definitely go somewhere else for your storage needs.

There was a mix-up when new owners took over & my storage was way behind, then my auto pay was also messed up so I owed a lot of money. After speaking to someone in customer service they took care of my issue immediately. They definitely listen to any issues you may have. They were right on top of this and it was painless for me to get fixed. I appreciate it so very much. I would recommend big guy storage 150% you can't go wrong they are great to work with & the facility is always nice & clean. Thank you big guy for the fast response in getting my issue taken care of. The customer service is phenomenal. This facility is always nice and neat & customer service is always at your fingertips.

Not sure if management or owners have changed at this facility since there are reviews from Better Value Storage, but my review is for Big Guy Storage in Greenville. Renting a storage unit from these people was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Looking at the prices, I was shocked to see how much cheaper they were than everywhere else. I needed a climate controlled unit so I spoke with their customer service before renting it to make sure that it was climate controlled and that the price I was seeing was accurate. They assured me the price was correct and that the unit was climate controlled. Fast forward to my move in date and it was around 9pm when I made it Big Guy Storage with my U-Haul. I entered the gate access code that I was given and it didn't work. I tried for about 15-20 mins, while calling their support line, in order to try and get inside and get my items unloaded since my U-Haul had to be returned the next morning. I finally gave up and went home to come back in the morning, mind you, I'm being charged an additional day on the U-Haul since it wasn't returned on time. I drive back out the next morning and am still having issues with the gate code so someone drove in behind me and was able to let me in. Once inside, I go to the storage unit to discover that it's not climate controlled like I was told. So I'm pissed off and just decide to go to another storage facility and rent a unit there. Unfortunately, now I can't get out of the gate. I go up to the front office (during business hours) to find that no one is there. I call the phone number for about 15 minutes before I get an answer at which point they just gave me same code to try on the gate and told me that no one is ever staffed onsite, they're only able to be reached through phone and aren't able to remotely open the gate for me. I never once was transferred to a member of management. After 30 minutes of being stuck in there and on the verge of calling the police or fire department to help me get out, another customer finally came by and let us out and I took all my stuff to another storage facility that gave me zero issues and were super nice and helpful. STAY AWAY FROM BIG GUY STORAGE

They were very helpful with my move in dates and keeping my belongings safe! David the regional manager of big guy storage was also super amazing with communication and working with me with my move out! Will use again in the future if needed!

I definitely recommend Better Value Storage. Very easy to obtain a storage unit online. Prices are very affordable too. Storage units are clean and they look brand new. I also want to mention that customer service is top notch . Janis was very kind and her customer service was outstanding and proactive. Not only did she walk us through each storage unit to make sure we chose the right one , she also helped us with setting up our account. If I could give this place 100 stars I will with out a doubt. Thanks !
