I work at a Dayhab that works with people with disabilities and can not take care of themselves. We come here all the time to take our clients. Joyce was wonderful in trying to help us. James on the other hand was rude and we tried to explain the situation to him but he sat there and told us that we were an inconvenience and pushed Joyce to take care of something else when she was handling the situation fine. People like him should not be working in customer service. We didn’t steal or cause a scene, he had no right to treat any of us that way.

Had an awful experience with the new young manager. He was belittling and cursing at another person. Yes this is the 3rd or 4th time I've witnessed this manager do this. Be safe shopping at 5101 Wesley dollar general. I feel discrimination by the manager against consumers is happening. And he creates a hostile environment.

Incredibly rude. NEVER again. Your located next to a gym, and I am a grown woman. To tell me I need to leave my bag at the door to buy some chapstick in front of the register. The employee accused me of shoplifting walking through the door. I have never been so disrespected. Shop elsewhere if you want to be treated like a customer and not a criminal.

We had the pleasure of visiting Dollar General with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. As we pulled into the parking lot, there were two handicapped ♿️ parking spaces. As we walked around the store, we did not notice any slip or trip hazards. There was not a lot of clutter in the store, and it appeared to be organized. We did not purchase anything from the store. However, when we interacted with employees, they were very professional and courteous."Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

I don't know why this store always looks so dirty. And usually when I get to the checkout counter I have to yell "hello?? Is anyone working today?" It just usually appears to look like a bunch of kids have torn out all of their toys and left them scattered everywhere. And it's always so HOT and stuffy in there as well. It's been that way for over 10 years.

Wow ! you have the rudest most hateful meanest evil girl working for you ! Kayla Vandergriff ! I don't know her !! worked in a Salon for minute w/her years ago and we never even talked ! Yet today my daughter and I the minute we walked in the store there she is glaring and staring us down I kept walking my daughter asked her do you have a problem ? She wouldn't answer just stared so we walked off kept shopping she followed us around the store just staring us down it was creepy !! then my daughter found I guess what y'all call a manager ? we tried to explain she was so rude as well wouldn't even listen took the girls side and made us leave ! NEVER experienced anything like that ! Who treats customers like that !! Unprofessional, creepy !

Dollar general gives coupons for customers to use!!! I went to this dollar general since they usually have a good selection - however the rude lady who told me “I wasn’t going to hold up her line with my coupons” instead of HELPING her team member with the line. She was older, with a receding hair line . Dear Dollar general - I would recommend if you want to keep customers you keep away from hiring people like this . :)
