Had a tire going flat, brand new tires at that, Googled “tire repair near me” and Bohr tire repair on Groom—-1.4 miles away—- Pulled in. Young man, Tyler, asked how he could help. He looked and said “I can fix that”. 20 minutes max all fixed. Total charge 15 bucks!!!!!! That’s right, 15 US dollars. Gave a generous tip, but would not accept it. It’s such a look into my past. Worked full service gas station to help with college education. Never took a tip that was offered. Can you believe the charge was ONLY 15 dollars??? These are special Americans.”
