The gentleman who helped me was very courteous, and I really appreciated all of the help he gave me. Once again, I had an emergency and Firestone was able to help me. Thank you again.

I am on my 2nd set of 4 tires from this location. There has never been an issue getting a damaged tire replaced under the road hazard warranty, just having a flat tire repaired, or simple tire rotation. They are always very accommodating for how busy they always are.

Never in my life will I go here again. The manager is an awful, nasty person. We had to beg 3 days for an estimate and even then it didn't make sense. The manager explained that they had to take a part off and that there was a 50/50 chance of it breaking. If it broke, then we'd be responsible for $2500. When I asked about it, he said, "Just google it. It's all over Google." I did google it, and no, it wasn't a "notice from GMC" as he told me it was. It was a bunch of people on forums talking about a part that was known to fail in my model of a car and how difficult it could be to replace. Ultimately, that's not what the issue was. In addition, they also wanted to do another $1k worth of work. I truly did not feel comfortable allowing this man or team to work on my car so I had it towed elsewhere. It went one other place when that garage said it really needed to be handled by a dealer due to the codes that were coming up and that the quote that was provided by Firestone did not make sense according to what he was looking at. In the end, the dealer took care of it for 1/3 of what Firestone was trying to charge me. When I asked about the part that may or may not break, the dealer had absolutely no idea why Firestone would say that.
So, thanks. I did, in fact, take the manager's advice and took it to someone "less knowledgeable" as he suggested, had the problem fixed, and didn't get ripped off. We never had a problem with what needed to be done. We wanted an explanation of the costs and repairs - which we had to beg for over the course of several days. I've put in a complaint with the area manager, and the woman was very helpful and surprised by the vague descriptions this manager kept providing, but I'm not entirely hopeful that anything will be addressed since this is how their company seems to operate.

I went to Firestone, located 3500 Twin City Hwy in Groves, TX on 6/1/2024. I dropped my 2017 Chevrolet Malibu off at 7:30am for a Front End Alignment and Tire Rotation/Balance. At 5:15pm I called inquiring about the status of my vehicle at which time I was told the technician had just started the work. At 6:44pm I received a phone call from the guy behind the counter advising me that they had called me and I didn’t answer because I had multiple issues such as needing a new tire, gasket with hole that’s leaking oil and new breaks plus rotors. The guy said the alignment could not be done unless I get all this work done. I told them I would be in the way to get my vehicle because my tires are under warranty at Discount tire and secondly I had just gotten an oil change at the dealership so it was no way I had an oil leak. There is no oil on the driveway etc….I get in my car and noticed that it was no way a front end alignment was done as my car was still pulling to the left. I go back to Firestone to complain that no work couldn’t have been done. The guy behind the counter tells me that the technician said he did not rotate or balance my left front tire because it’s so bad. Mind you i checked my tires and all my rotors and they are in great condition. I’m sure the dealership would’ve told me I needed a new tire as I had just gotten inspection and oil change. I told the guy they did not complete the work and stole $189.47 from me. First you said you couldn’t do the work to you saying you did the work. This is unacceptable and all they are doing is trying to steal from people. This place needs to be shut down. Whole I was there I told several customers to leave and not get any work done here. I’m taking my car to discount tire and I’ll let them tell me I need new tires. I’ ll also ask if it look like an alignment was done. Stay away from this scamming business. Not to mention they added air to my tires which were all 35psi and now look at them. I have attached pics for proof.

This is the second time in 3 months that I've had service done at this location in Groves. Each time the guys up front are professional and personable. I've decided to move all my auto needs and business over to this location. This is due to being able to book online appointments and the quality of work.

Had an appointment at 9 am. Waited till 12.30 and my car was still not taken in. Walked away. Terrible experience. It's not that they were busy. Kept telling the technician has gone on the test drive. Who goes for a half hr test drive. There's something wrong with the Firestone locations in this area. During Thanksgiving my son has an appointment for alignment. When he went there he was told machine is broken. When he requested oil change the minimum cost was $89 as his car only took certain kind of oil {was told that}. I told him to go to Walmart and get the oil changed. Many of my friends have the same terrible experiences. Not just bad terrible. Hope someone at Firestone notices this and tries to make improvements.
