“This little shop is full of treasures! It has lots of antique and vintage items from every era. I love that there’s a variety from super high quality, valuable pieces to fun affordable items full of nostalgia. There really is something for everyone! Val herself is probably the best treasure of all. She knows the story behind everything she sells, and she wants to know your stories as well. It’s one of the most fun shopping experiences I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!”

“This is a really cute dainty place. It's an old house that has additions added to it, but I love how the owner makes it to where everything blends in together. But it's like a consignment where you have other people selling their items.You can't tell that because everything seems like it blends in. They had old wooden spools that my mom used to use when she was sewing to some newer type purses. It is really neat to see. Sorry, you guys, I don't have any pictures. When I return back I will take some pictures.”

“This place is literal gold. I saw a man review this store and it said "it's what you expect, over priced and nothing you need or can use here." What a dumb thing to say Ricky T! We are currently restoring a home built in 1895 and this store is like a buried treasure chest. There are SO many lighting options, old doors (for days!) fixtures, pieces, odds and ends... EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your old home. And the prices?! Literally beyond fair and reasonable. Finding 100 year old chandeliers for $1500??? That's an INCREDIBLE price as they can go for $15k. I recommend this store to antique lovers and old house owners. Don't be fooled by snarky reviews from those who have no business or respect being among such old beauty!”

“This little tea room in an antique store can be hard to find so look for a big building with the name also on the antique store sign. We got the secret garden quiche. The crust was flaky and buttery. The the apricot iced tea was good and service great.Prices are reasonable. Go TRY IT.Vegetarian options: Crowns favorite vegetarian sandwich”

“As retired couple we are trying to downsize. As apartment residents, we are not in position to have garage sale and do not want to post for sale online. Barnie's offered the best solution. It's on consignment, but our stuff sold quickly. Yes we might have got more $ ,but we had no work to do. You can take to him and get 50% of sale price or he will pick up and you get 40% of sale price. Very good program for anyone, but especially good for Seniors. “I got four bids to restore an old garage sale desk that are hard to find any more. All the restoration places informed me I had a Black Walnut desk so I was anxious to see it recovered from years of neglect. With bids as high as $4000 (I paid $25 at the garage sale), Joe was the lowest price and instilled the greatest confidence in me that he would perform the best value work. He patiently took the time to walk through my options and best stains and colors I needed.I was not in a hurry so he took his time and took great care. After delivery, he needed to return twice to take care of some additional details. I never got the feeling that he wanted to just be finished with the job and he wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with the results.He has a wealth of experiential stories and done a lot of work for particular people. I would trust him to inform me if he had reservations about taking on something that was beyond his capability.I will take all of my future work to him and save myself the time of getting bids. I have confidence he will do excellent work because he clearly loves working with wood!”
