Great price and great service. Absolutely love Dr Anderson. My German Shepherd and I have found a new vet. He educated me without talking down to me.

These people is very unprofessional. I made a appointment and they told me it will be Thursday after 2:30 When I arrived they said my appointment was at 11 and they also said they called me to confirm my appointment and they never did. Bad business and not communicating with costumers is very rude

Wish I could leave more than 5 stars. Great communication, very timely, reasonably priced, and a clean facility. My Sphynx kitties will be going here moving forward. Thank you!

Don't be misled by the positive reviews about Haltom City Animal Hospital. My interaction with Dr. Anderson was far from pleasant. I came to him with a clear diagnosis from another facility, supported by documentation, yet he brushed it aside with an arrogance that was difficult to stomach. He treated me as if I lacked understanding despite evidence to the contrary.I sought a second opinion elsewhere, which confirmed my initial concerns. Despite this, Dr. Anderson remained obstinate and dismissive. It's clear to me that Haltom City Animal Hospital isn't the reputable institution it once was. The staff seem to mirror Dr. Anderson's dismissive attitude. If you value your animal's health and your peace of mind, I'd strongly advise looking elsewhere. It's essential to voice our experiences, especially when they are negative, so others can make informed decisions. If you do decide to visit this clinic, tread carefully, and remember my words when interacting with them.

Dr. Anderson is always the best, for any size animal! But, he cares as much for the people as he does their pets.

The vet from the moment I walked in the door was very unfriendly and rude all he did was weigh my dog. I brought her in to find out what she keeps having an allergy to he tried telling me my dog had fleas which she does not I have 3 other animals in the house not one has a single flea he tried saying every animals diffrent she just might be the only one I said no I have combed threw her hair I have checked every inch of her body over and over no fleas . He literally talk to me like I was stupid and didn't even touch her or look at her skin one time . He straight told me it's not allergies and now a yeast infection from itching nothing else. Wow I straight walked out.

I took my Maverick for an ear infection, and Doc took care of him in a hurry. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room for very long at all. The only problem I have with this office is when I went back for a recheck, it cost the same amount as a regular visit.

They were so nice and helpful with my Baby Dog. She had breast cancer, heart murmur, allergies. But he still did what he could with her surgeries. She passed. They refered me to a wonderful place to get her cremated.

First time I went they took care of our puppy (then) and gave him some antibiotics. Now a year and a half later he went in for more shots. The doctor and staff are really nice and caring.

I'm probably not like other reviewers. This is certainly a no frills animal clinic/hospital. What I have found in this facility is an experienced clinician that can handle canine and feline traumatic and preventative issues at a fair price and I certainly wont hesitate to come here with my pets.

Where do I start? Well Dr Anderson was referred to me by a family friend many many years ago and I used him for years until I moved out to Decatur. I absolutely loved him then. He was caring and very experienced and reasonably priced. Always excellent care for all my animals. Since moving, I have been using a local vet in Decatur that has been ok up until my German Shepard hurt his knee. My local vet did X-rays and diagnosed my dog with a ruptured ACL and referred me to another vet that specializes in ACL surgery. So I proceeded to take him to the ACL specialist who said he indeed needed surgery at a price tag of $6,300. Now, my GS is 11 years old, weighs 120lb and the surgery involves cutting the bone and re-aligning it and putting in a metal plate. Yikes-very intrusive! Not to mention the recovery and aftercare for my poor boy would be extremely difficult as he just about outweighs me so I was very stressed but scheduled the surgery and prepaid at their request to get the consult fees and follow up appointment fees waved. I was told if I paid same day I wouldn’t be charged for that visit which was $250 and his follow up appointment fees would be waved, saving me $500. A way to get you to commit same day. Make you wonder what they are up to, huh? Then I had to spend another $800 for a handicap ramp so I could get him in and out of our house for potty breaks bc he would not be able to use stairs for months after surgery. So a total investment of $7,100! I decided to get a 3rd opinion and go see good ole Dr Anderson and I’m just so thankful I did! He asked me if anyone mentioned Adequan injections for him since he didn’t appear to be terribly lame. I said no and so he proceeded to tell me he’s had great results with the injections and suggested we try a regimen of the Adequan injections! Boom! My dog responded well to the very first injection and no longer is limping. I’m thrilled I went for this 3rd opinion bc Dr Anderson immediately knew what to do all for $90 on my first visit and $45 every week there after for a 6-8 week regimen. Don’t get me wrong, if surgery was the absolute last resort I would have gone that route, but it wasn’t. He knew right out of the gate these injections were the answer! Thank you Dr Anderson for saving me a fortune, but more importantly saving us months of anguish, pain and suffering while recovering from surgery! Your professionalism, kindness, knowledge and experience are unmatched and I will be using you for all my vet needs even if it means driving an hour there and an hour home!I know this is a long review, but I hope it saves someone else if they find themself in my situation. And it’s worth mentioning these less than desirable reviews. You need to take them with a grain of salt bc we all know people are quick to post bad reviews when things don’t go their way. There is no way Dr Anderson delivers less than stellar vet care and compassion! Period!
