If I was able to give this business a no star I absolutely would. I rented a cargo van in order to move as I recently moved to the state, I was able to book everything online and even got a follow up call confirming the rental, everything seemed like it was fine and there were no issues. Fast forward to the day I go to pick up, I arrive at 8 am to pick up the van, I provide my information and I am immediately hit with the oddest news, I am unable to rent the van as I do not have a "local drivers license" I explained my situation that I just moved to the area less then a week ago, and that they have all my stuff in a uhual Box, and I need the van to access it. I was asked to provide verification that I lived there, as it is their policy I am unable to rent without a local license. (At no time was I offered other options for rental, so I assumed I was unable to rent ANY equipment without a local ID). I returned with an individual who had a local license as I assumed I had no other course of action. That individual correctly pointed out that there is no information on the website or posted anywhere that states a local license is needed, just that a "valid license" is needed. This is where the situation became worse, the woman behind the counter became argumentative and disrespectful towards us, she advised that we have an attitude and that if we continued to speak with her with an attitude she would cancel the reservation as she did nothing wrong. As reasonable people who didn't believe we had an attitude we started over and simply inquired where that information was posted, they showed a small sign on the wall which said that a "valid license" would need to be presented. We again advised that valid does not mean local and that there is no policy anywhere that said a local license is needed, we realizing this was not going anywhere simply asked if we could continue the rental with a Texas license, at that time we were advised that because we continued to have an attitude with her and question the policies that they were refusing to rent to us, the individual called her boss over and explained that she had been respectful and we were being belligerent and rude and that's why she was refusing service. Again we calmly explained the issues that we were having and again simply asked for them to show us in writing this policy as we were unable to understand where this information was coming from and why at no point during any of the booking or follow up call was this not addressed or advised. We were advised again that even though we were simply asking for proof of such a policy because we had an attitude we would be refused service. This was the most insane experience I have ever dealt with, as I was able to rent the cargo van in the state I was residing previously with an out of state license and there was no information or problems at that time. I was able to call a different location and get this sorted out the individual was respectful and got us set up without any issues at all.

Ms. Jennifer and her little assistant are the RUDEST people. Not only do they not provide all the necessary information , they give the nastiest attitude when asked why the policy not publicly posted. They then REFUSED to uphold the rental agreement when met with the same energy. Instead of offering a solution that another location did they refused to over any sort of customer service. Drive 5 more minutes and be helped by people who actually know their jobs at the Fort Worth location.

It NEVER happened. I arrived for appointment and was told that they had tried to get a hold of me, but NEVER left me a message, They do not install those anymore.

They finished exactly when they said it would be done. Easy to schedule. Only issue is, they didn't tell me that rhe wiring was hidden in the spare tire compartment.

The manager, Jennifer, was very rude. Don't recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a U-Haul.

The only reason I gave high marks was because of Gio, the hitch technician. The store mgr and Gio at the Haltom City Denton Hwy location were exceptional. Jan in Corporate was extremely rude to me.

STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT STORAGE. Absolute sh!t show of an establishment we moved into a storage unit December 29 had to do it online because no one behind the counter could actually help us. We go back 7 days later to find we no longer have access to our unit once we get a card provide we find our lock has been cut and our belongings have been left unsecured. They have the wrong name on our account and told us we moved into the wrong unit.

We stored a vehicle here for about nine months and at first it was a little rocky. We used the vehicle often but used the spot since we are limited on space at home and wanted extra protection for the vehicle with how many break ins happen in this area. We did have one unfortunate event about a month in to paying for the space where the vehicle was broken into on uhaul's property, but Jennifer (the GM) was super helpful with the situation. The cops were the ones who notified us first because it was after hours and it was about 24 hours after the break in actually occurred. At first we were frustrated at how we weren't contacted sooner, but Jennifer reassured us that she was trying to make sure law enforcement got all of the details and video footage they had to try and help them and us. After that incident, uhaul added a night patrol person from what I understand and updated their security cameras. Ever since then, we have had no issues and Jennifer is always so friendly and makes sure to say hi if we ever pop in. We just got rid of the parking space, but highly considering getting an indoor unit for some storage space now that we know how awesome the staff are and how protected we feel about our belongings being on their property!

BEWARE! This location is shady in regards to fuel in the vehicles. I fueled the vehicle back to where I rented it from and they charged me for a 2 gallon charge on fuel and they are claiming it was not fueled or was returned less than when I received the vehicle. Take photos of fuel BEFORE AND AFTER returning if you must rent from this location but they are extremely shady and I will not be renting from this place again.

I rented a Uhaul from Ponder to Haltom one way, the miles were wrong and when I tried to upload a photo as proof it didn't upload.. Uhaul was going to charge me an extra $121 for miles that I didn't drive. Jennifer the General Manager did extensive research to prove I was telling the truth and nulled the extra charge. Grateful for her patience and amazing customer service

Rented a truck for less than 6 hours and when I asked about the toll was told they bill you later. Well they billed me twice and keep adding tolls to the bill. Was never told about a $1 admin fee for each toll you drive through and I submitted a dispute over a month ago and have yet to get a response. Do not use their service. Even the wait time when you go in person is long for pick up and drop off and it seems only one person actually wants to work. I was on hold with customer service over an hour just for someone to answer not saying anything and disconnect the call I will just continue my dispute with my credit card company because this is ridiculous!
