They have nice cars but car loan is too high for what customers are getting it for. They also try to give us their insurance when I don’t want it because it doesn’t cover the driver. Also I had progressive and they were adding their insurance fee as well to my car loan. So I was paying too much overall. I’m currently paying a lot on my car loan still when it should be another certain amount that I’ve been tracking on. And they keep adding hundreds of dollars everyday to my car loan every time I refresh my online payment page. So definitely don’t recommend them to any others so they don’t have to go through the same thing other customers are going through it as well. READ CONTRACT BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE WITH THEM.

*5-17-25* Please be mindful and read over every document before signing it at this car lot! I called and asked for my insurance card they sent me paperwork via email and I said no where is my insurance card. We do not give out insurance cards because the insurance that we offer only covers the car. So you have had me riding around in the state of Texas knowing that you have to at least have Liability insurance that’s against the law the only thing you worried about is these cars that are not fit to be in the city streets at all anyway! Then you have the audacity to tell me if I don’t keep your insurance and get my own insurance I have to have full coverage and you don’t even offer full coverage! A lot of things not making sense with this establishment and basically you are over charging consumers for vehicles that haven’t been properly inspected to be on the city streets it’s unethical and not correct at all!
I’m going to give an honest review I
purchased a Jeep Compass from the Halthom City location. Customer service was perfect I was in and out no hassle! 3 weeks later the suv started making noise like the tire was about to pop off I was scared to drive I contacted Tricolor I had to take to the service shop on Semminary in Ft Worth. I get there this suv has a ton of problems that need to be fixed from the motor mount, an alignment, and numerous other issues! Okay so what are yall going to do about me getting to work my children to school and so on! The very rude lady working in the service location if you have Texas drivers license and full coverage insurance that’s the only way we will consider a loaner car! Excuse me I have Tennessee drivers license I just moved here and you telling me that the work needed done to my car that I just purchased 3 weeks is going to take a day and a half and you don’t give a damn how ima get to work how my children will get to school or none of the above on a car that you should have fully inspected and checked before you listed it for sale! You want me to pay for uber to get to where I need to get to to inconvenience me due to Tricolor not fully inspecting these cars before they list them for sale! Keep in my mind it’s numerous of people in the waiting area because they are having issues with their car as well one lady purchased a car from Tricolor on Seminary on Monday and was back Tuesday because her check engine light came on! They where supposed to be replacing a gps and changing the oil for another young lady and the mechanic blew a fuel and her car wouldn’t crank! This lady was pregnant and had been sitting there for over 6 hours and the employees thought it was funny! I’m baffled at the way this Car lot handles business and I’m definitely going to look further into it because basically yall are overpricing cars that have not been fixed and selling them and the rudeness of your workers on Semminary is beyond me! You do not care about your customers! Please shop elsewhere for your next vehicle because these people are not correct at all!
