Frustrating, left me disappointed and off to a better store 5 mins away. I needed a few simple items. White pepper, shrimp, pork, sesame oil, soy sauce, wonton wrappers, fresh/dried wonton noodles. Wow. This place disappointed. The shrimp was pricier than the other location. There was no white pepper (grounded finely, only whole), no wonton wrappers from my inspection, and generally lacked a lot of goodies. The fish guy threw the fishes on the floor before cleaning. Odd and.. disgusting.

Do not expect to be greeted at this place at checkout. If M Anh C. gives you your total verbally, consider yourself lucky. I do appreciate that I don't have to wait in a long line like at Nguyen Loi. Probably the biggest reason this place gets my business.

DO NOT BUY MEAT FROM HERE!!!!! The first time I went to this market I plan on buying pork rib tips and the gentleman that was helping me bag my meat decided to start coughing hysterically, HIS MASK WASN'T on his face but pull down at his neck!!! I was completely DISGUSTED! It felt to me like he was purposely doing it for some odd reason... very gross out, I didn't get the meat...On top of that I notice he wasn't wearing any gloves guys isn't that against covid guidelines???? SICK AF.. I told myself I would NEVER come back, but yesterday I went to pick up some Togo food next door and I thought to myself I need few groceries it will be quick... well I find myself back at the meat section praying to god I don't get the same dude but there he was... and guys same thing!!!! He didn't have gloves on and after he grab the grounded pork with his bare filthy hands (just look at his fingernails and cuticles) HE DECIDED TO RUB HIS pointer FINGER ACROSS HIS NOSE!!!!!! YOOO THATS SO SICK!!! Best believe I didn't buy any meat from them both times!!! But yes there's gross sick humans out here... last time at this store never coming back EVER!

Although the cleaniness is not as high as typical American markets, this market is way better than other Asian markets. I like this one better than the Hong Kong market in grand prairie. This market has more veggies that are very common in Cantonese cuisine. The market meat section doesn't smell at all, which other Asian markets do. Overall, definitely will come back for my Asian groceries shopping.

Called in for placed an order the lady said she'll have it ready, drove 2 hrs to get there and she said she don't have it anymore. Bad business ethics, I wish I can give them a negative star

DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!! The owner of this store is CROOKED. The female owner intentionally sold me the wrong products. I was recommended by my coworkers to buy steamed rice cake at this store. It had been years since I bought anything here and usually go to the ones in Arlington. Overpriced and dirty. I suggest everyone should go to Arlington for anything Vietnamese and Asian. I'm surprised this store is still in business and hasn't been shut down by the health department.

Small. Sometimes there are good prices and good food and products. Rude customer service and rude cashiers.

This store definitely has the best selection of any nearby Oriental markets, however, the cashiers are, dare I say, racist. My husband is Thai (his grandmother immigrated to the US back in the 70's) and I am a classically trained chef, I cook some of his favorite dishes with the merchandise from here, but every time I come here, the cashiers are super nice to everyone around me (everyone else is Asian and I am this little white woman) and then I come up to the register and they won't even say a word or look me in the eyes. I've even tried learning some Thai phrases to be nice, but nope, they are still rude. I'll continue to come here because of the amazing variety but damn dude, can't you crack a smile?

I went to Nguyen Loi to pick up some pork belly, as I have a few times before. Until today I'd never had an issue with this supermarket, but when I went to the butchers counter and asked for pork belly today, the man had what appeared to be a very deep cut on his finger that he had covered with a bandaid. Blood had soaked through the bandaid and it was so old the blood had turned black. This man then proceeded to pick up a piece of pork belly with his BARE HANDS, throw it in a plastic bag and slam it on the counter. I didn't purchase the meat and I will never be returning to this store. This is absolutely revolting and unacceptable, wear some damn gloves when handling someone's food.

Foodstuff is moldy and rotten. Staff are extremely rude.

Gross! Dirty rug covering up fish. I had gone right before closing. The staff had finished mopping and rather put the dirty carpet elsewhere, they place it right on top of fish covered in ice. This is definitely a HEALTH CONCERN!

Bad customer services from the cashiers to the meat and seafood department! My fellow Asians cannot smile or give you a decent service! They are rude!

Nguyen Loi & Vietnam Plaza are the best Asian Grocery available close to Fort Worth. Although, the quality of Nguyen Loi is poor compared to Vietnam Plaza. I'm gonna start with the cons: The Supermarket seems like it lacks hygiene support, say in the fridge, meat section and restrooms. The restroom doesn't have hand soap available to wash your hands and it is kind of questionable if employees wash their hands here before working. The most disgusting part I saw here is the cooking oil they use to cook for the duck. The cooking oil had a very dark brown texture that looked like it hasn't been changed for months and who would wanna buy their duck? The meat section smells like urine, the fish section looks depressing and those tubs where they put the fish doesn't seem like it's being cleaned and one time the pompano seemed like it was left in a tub without an ice for hours. The new guy who cleans the fish that has a white apron without a beard is disgusting because he did not clean the fish that well, at that time we got a pompano and when we got home we found out that he mixed up the price tag with someone else fish and that got us up to $15 charge which is usually only $5 a piece. Next time you get a fish here, be sure to double check the price tag. Another thing that bugs me about this establishment is that they put too much packaging in some of their vegetables, not only is it wasteful for the environment but moisture could not escape from the vegetables and it accelerates the expiration date. Overall, the health score in this establishment is outdated and needs to be reinspected. The cashiers is only a few, line is very unorganized and some of the elderly are cutting in line. The cashiers have a language barrier which they cannot speak English that well. Most of the workers here actually can't speak English that well. Here are the pros: The good thing about the establishment is that their products are a little cheaper than the ones selling at Vietnam Plaza and they got more varieties here too. TIP: if you want a better quality Asian Grocery, Arlington has a lot better establishment than in Haltom City.

So my mom used the wrong card and she realized it after we just put the card in and she like told them right away to cancel it and she heard her but she like accepted it so the payment went through and my mom was like why did you accept it after I said it's the wrong card and she was like what? Pretending to be stupid and my mom was like can you cancel the payment and she was like no we can't do that and she was like well I can't pay for it it's the wrong card and they were like we can't cancel it you already paid and I was like you can't void the payment? And they just kept saying no no and they started talking in Vietnamese and I said you can't do it or you won't do it and she looked at me and turned around to the other cashier and talked for a little bit then she comes back over and goes we can't do it and I was like yes you can you can void the payment and she kept saying no no then after we waited cause she said I'll text my boss she comes back and goes we can't do it so we said okay then we'll return everything and they did it then my mom was like can we buy it back? And she took the cart away from my mom and said no so we left. It was THAT easy to just return it and they had to be a b**** about it and won't let us buy it back and you can void the payment but they wouldn't do it because they were lazy
