OK everyone it's been a very long time since I posted a review, but I must post a few tonight. So, I went to Chuy's restaurant this evening with my daughter and while the food was good the Waitress Kiana C was HORRIBLE. So, let's review first she comes to the table and gives the spill about them taking donations for St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, ok I can get with that. She goes to get the Queso and Chips comes back & asked to take my order. While I am telling her what I want, the table behind me starts talking to her asking her for to go boxes, she turns walks over to them, and leaves me talking. YEP, you heard right in mid-sentence. I get upset and I get very quiet, well she gets an attitude as though I just left her talking while she was trying to give her order. Finally, after a minute or two, I ordered. So, she walks off. Someone else brings our food to the table (Cool no problem) but Kiana NEVER came back to address any of our needs during our visit. I told my 14-year-old daughter to ask the Hostess for silverware, then she went back for napkins and after 25 minutes I sopped the hostess after she seated some customers and asked her if she would bring me two carry out boxes and the check. The hostess said yes and walked away. She (the hostess) brought back the carry out boxes and said that the manager would come with our bill. NOPE--that did not happen, so after 10 minutes I walked to the hostess station and sked for the receipt. They went to the back and finally Kiana came back with the check (she started asking what was wrong, and I kept silent), and she had an attitude while she was asking, and she finally walked away (after I gave her NO response). So, I got up after 5 minutes went to the hostess station and asked them to ring me out. They said that they had to get a manager and it would be a few. Ok but again NO manager came, Kiana came and said she would ring me out. Did she ring me out? NOOOOO. I saw her serving another table, so I pointed it out to the hostess and asked her to go get my debit card. Here is the FINAL kickoff.. Kiana had laid my card down and was serving another table, so she had to go find it, bring it to me and guess what SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE. NO MANAGER CAME!! I snatched my card from Kiana and left.I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE. And I pray that Kiana C and the manager will receive much better service WHEREVER THEY GO, than they were to me. I would rather make a run for the boarder from here on out.

This restaurant is very nice. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service by both of our server ( Renee) who was fantastic and (Misty) who helped me with shirts and hat. The food was great. The restaurant was smaller than some but everything was exquisite. Thanks Chuy's. Few and far apart. So if you find one, try it. I think you'll like it. Family, children friendly. 5 ⭐'s plus ??Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Ample

Food is good, but it is not the first place I would think of if I wanted Tex-Mex.I recently noticed the odd set of pictures that are in one of the rooms.

My experience at Chuy's was awful, so I'm writing a review. We arrived and had a significant wait time despite adding our names to the waitlist ahead of time. When we were finally seated, we waited an additional amount of time until we asked the hostess if we were supposed to wait this long for a server. She said she would find our server. When a waitress finally arrived, she approached us like we were a burden, asked us what we wanted to drink, and if we wanted to order an appetizer. She brought our chips and abruptly spilled them on the table. We ordered our drinks and some Queso dip. She said she would get our drinks but clarified that she was not our server. Ten minutes later, she brought the wrong drinks. We had to wait another more time for our correct drinks. When she brought them, she slammed them on the table, spilling liquid. She brought the dip much later but no chips for it. We ordered our meals and asked for the chips. We sat there staring at our cold dip until she finally brought the chips. By then, we didn't want them anymore. She then said she took our order but wasn't our server. She mentioned they were experiencing staffing issues, then walked away and eventually came back with the food but was missing one plate. The missing meal for my son was brought a significant time later. I feel we should never have had to pay for the Queso dip that sat at our table and got cold. The food was also served cold. Chuy's was a favorite restaurant for our family, but this negative experience has swayed our opinion about this restaurant. Chuy's, please do better.

Food poisoning! My son threw up before we ever left the parking lot. Both of our stomachs were cramping immediately after eating. My daughter was the only one who didn’t eat the white sauce and chips and she’s fine. I will be filing a complaint with the health department.

Got the cheese enchiladas plate and it was delicious. You get beans and rice with the enchiladas as well. The beans are flavorful and the rice is moist and flavorful. I would love to try their fajitas next time.

I'm not to sure If this location is short staffed or what the issue is. The food was good, the service was poor. Me and my friend felt like we couldn't ask questions or modify our order due to the waitress we had. We had to ask for menus and utensils. When my friend asked for another salsa because the first one looked weird and was super watery our waitress said, "well it's coming from the same pan so do you still want it or not?" We then got done eating and we were waiting for 20 minutes for our waitress to come back to the table to check on us so we could pay and leave. I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask another person to please go get our waitress. I can't say that I would come back to this location, unfortunately.

This was my first time at this restaurant, my son's second. We sat down a little after noon and placed our order. Food was extremely slow to come out. We ordered the queso, it was good. We placed our order...and waited, and waited, and waited...and you guessed it...waited. After almost an hour, the server came out and informed us that our ticket was dropped and our food had not been made, but that it was now being prepared. We immediately asked to speak with the manager, who...you guessed it...took his sweet time coming over to address the situation. He may have been waiting for us to leave. He did not seem to be remotely interested in our experience and made no initial offer to make our visit more enjoyable. Like I said, the queso was good, the food, on the other hand...well, let's just say it left a lot to be desired. The refried beans tasted like they had been "refried" a few times too many, the fajita meat in my burrito was burnt and bitter and tasted like charcoal lighter fluid. My son's rice was dry. He did manage to eat the chicken enchiladas. The service was, at best, ok. I find it strange that no one noticed a missing ticket, and once the server was informed, came out and told us first, not the manager, who should have come over and advised us of the issue, instead of us having to ask for the manager. One thing that will be memorable, on the good side, is the music...and the queso. I won't be back to this restaurant...I will make the trip to Austin, TX where the experience is way better. We won't be returning...just close the doors now and save the Chuy's name...

Well, this was our second visit to this Chuy's. I gave them a break when they first opened since everyone was new and getting adjusted. Well this trip was even worse. Service was good, but not at the level you get at other location's. We arrived at 5 and waited until 6 ( table of 5) to get our food. Server did check back with us a couple of times to let us know that she had "escalated" our order. One of the plates was likely sitting out for a while as it was dry and cold. There won't be a third visit to this location. There are a lot of small Mexican establishments all around HH, Belton or Temple that want your business and take the extra step to make sure your food/ambiance is top notch. This location will get enough business just because it's Chuy's. It's a shame it's not top notch.

This was my second time ordering, and I must admit the food is good. I love the fact that they do not add pork or beef their beans. The ingredients are fresh, and the food looks inviting.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited.

This is the second time this happened to me here. Got on the waitlist for a party of four, and waited for an hour. Meanwhile six different groups walked in, some bigger, and waited less time or were sat immediately. They didn’t check in, just walked in and asked for a table. This time when I asked about the wait time the lady at the counter was rude and told me there was 3 partys ahead of me, four groups walked out and the party that checked in after us was seated. We left. Still never got the text that our table was ready for 45 minutes later
