Both of my boys have attended here since they were babies. I can honestly say the staff and owners are amazing. The ABEKA curriculum is amazing as well as a graduated K4 student I have all faith that my oldest is ready for public school. I love that on Wednesdays do they do a chapel time and take the time to instill God in our children everyday!

I wish we would have started our twin boys here earlier! They started in January 2023 to finish up pre-k and the growth from then until now, May 2023, has been incredible. If we would have started them earlier they could have been reading before entering Kindergarten. They are going to do well in Kindergarten because of the foundation they received at DLC. The reason for the growth is due to the staff. They have been great! I definitely recommend this preschool.

First, nobody greets you or acknowledges you anytime we went in nor did they introduce the teacher or other staff at all. Second, I watched the DIRECTOR, Megan, threaten to call one the kids parents and then proceeds to "call" mom and says to a FOUR year old "ok that's it I'm calling mom".. (all while the director made eye contact with me and then turned around with no acknowledgement). Third, I watched another teacher say stop it through their teeth to a child. Fourth, they told us to bring our own mat or purchase one from them... the mat we "purchased" was used by 2 other kids (you could see sharpie mark outs) and it was all torn. Also, they charge $15 supply fee monthly, random "fees" and don't provide lunch or snacks.I asked at least 4 times how my child was doing and all they said was "good". I never knew if she was eating her lunch, adjusting well, or anything. They communicated with a paper at the podium. and when I say nobody greeted us I don't expect a full conversation just a head nod, hello, a wave, anything. We went for 2 months part time and was never acknowledged AT ALL. So awful. The kids do not respect the teachers and from observation, I would say it is because the teachers and directors do not respect them or the parents. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

The 1/2 year old room folks were not really inviting. My son was new and never got an update on how his first few days went when I picked him up. It was just like, ok bye.. I pulled him out after 2 weeks.

We absolutely LOVE Discovery Learning Center, our daughter started in the younger school and aged into the older school. She has learned so much, and is smarter, stronger, and more thoughtful each day! She loves the weekly Chapel, and the curriculum! We wished we could stay here forever! The staff is so amazing, they truly love our kiddos, and recognized each of thier gifts and learning abilities. Thank you for teaching our daughter and loving her so much!

We are new to Texas and have been absolutely blown away by Discovery Learning Center! They were the only daycare that had availability for both our 1.5 year old and our 3.5 year old in August. The teachers are warm and kind with the perfect amount of firmness when necessary. My daughter and son both absolutely love going to school! In addition, my 3.5 year old is learning letters and their sounds, as well as manners and so much about the world around her. Finally, the director is incredibly kind, warm, and professional. DLC feels like an extension of our family. I know if my kiddos are tired or grumpy they will be extended the same love and grace that we would give them at home. On rough mornings, the teacher or Ms. Britany, the director will take my crying kiddos into her arms and settle them down. She is amazing!!! This daycare is truly a gem and we are blessed to have found it!

We couldn't be happier with this learning center! We are so grateful to every teacher and director of the school! Miss Megan and Miss Felicity have become our son's favorites! We have been on a long search for the perfect learning center for our child and are extremely happy that we found it! It was an unforgettable year, an ocean of love and care, new skills acquired by our child, new friends, and in general an invaluable experience! Thank you so much for everything you have done for our family! We really loved this center, their philosophy and teachers! We will be missing you sooooo much!!!!!!!!! ❤️?

Super upset with this place. I had high hopes but had been warned many times to look elsewhere. Went to register but never signed any paper work to register and yet they cashed a check witho it my permission. Now won't give me that portion of money. Not only that it took over 3 weeks to finally get admin to even call me.

There is something terribly off with this place. My one year old child attended this daycare for couple of weeks. I just had to listen to myself and pull my child out of there. I started to see so many red flags that I would drop my child off and take care what I had to do at work, then pick my child up. One morning I drop my child off and I just did not like how my child was kick and screaming, so I pretended that I left and drove my vehicle up the road and walked back in the daycare quietly to see what was going on. They had my child dark covering my child up. I should of called the police but I just pulled my child out. I can go on for days of all the red flags. We heard that they are having a investigation going on for abuse. Did our child experience it? I hope not. It very hard enough to trust strangers with your child but hear abuse was going on. I hope this place gets closed down. I prayed nothing else happened to the children there.

My child attended this daycare for few weeks. We pulled our child out because it didnt seem safe and there was no curriculum or learning taking place. My husband and I immediately found it to be little off. My child wasn't talking at the time, to inform and validate our concerns. However, the daycare was always dark. One day I walked in to pick up my son and they had all the kids sitting at a table..with the lights off! It just felt weird and off because these were 1 year olds! My husband arrived one day for early pick up. The kids were outside playing. Only 1 person watching the kids, while another was on her phone. Luckily he arrive at the right time because he had to take a rock out our child mouth! I heard that they were being investigated for abuse and it worries me. Did my child experience it? It's hard enough to trust strangers with you child. The guilt alone is gut wrenching and on top of that you hear abuse was going on... Even though it was only a few weeks... I feel horrible!

This "learning center" portrays a false image. They are NOT a child centered learning facility, they prioritize profit and convenience for their staff. My 3 year old son was just kicked out of their facility because he is not fully potty trained. Keep in mind that we pay an elevated monthly rate because he is not potty trained, we informed them upon enrollment, and we have followed all their suggestions/requests to help him become potty trained. The director and office staff gave no notice that he was being removed from their program and no advance notice that this was pending, my husband was called to come pick him up and they told him that my son was no longer welcome there. The activities they provide to children are not developmentally appropriate and they do not focus on growing the whole child. The director yells at students anytime they are misbehaving, fails to effectively communicate with parents, and attempted to diagnose my 3 year old as ADHD. I have 12 years experience and multiple degrees in early childhood education and development, I would strongly discourage any parent from sending their child to this establishment. There is no communication about the daily happenings while your child is in their care. They do not understand what it takes to work with children and grow them into happy, healthy kids.

My daughter attended DLC for three years and we absolutely loved it. The smaller class sizes were perfect. We especially loved that it was faith based. Our daughter looked forward to going to chapel every Wednesday. We were so sad when she aged out! Her teachers and the director were amazing at building relationships. Once our baby turns one we will be enrolling her as well.
