I had a great experience since I walked in. They were able to squeeze me in to be seen by the Dr. Even though I didn't have an appointment. They made an exception for this one time. The assistant, the Dr and all the other personal that assisted me were very helpful.

I have been happy with the service and prescription updates at Harlingen's America's Best for years now. It's easy to make online appointments, the doctor is knowledgeable and has made positive updates to my prescription, I'm happy with the contact ordering option, and Mary was very helpful and personable in my most recent order placement.

Had always had a good experience here until last month. On February 10th, My husband and I had an appointment scheduled for 910am and 915am on a Saturday. We showed up about 10 minutes until 9 am. and waited outside the door because they opened at 9 am. Not a big deal, then 9am came , the neighboring businesses opened their doors and customers went in, Americas best didn't. We pulled on the handle, and it was locked. The staff of about 5 people were sitting around talking and just looked at us and kept talking. No one got up. No one signaled it would be a minute, nothing. Then 905am came, and we were still waiting while they continued to talk. 907am we finally walk to our car parked right in front of the door and closed our doors...only then one of the girls walks to open the door and signals for us to come inside. We tell them no, to forget it, and the guy that issues contacts can be seen in the back laughing about it. Ridiculous, unprofessional, and lazy!! Never had issues. Mind you, we waited weeks to schedule only to deal with these rude excuse of people you have working there. Oh and after we leave we get a text that our appts were canceled!! Hahaa..trying to cover for their incompetence!

From the appointment set up to meeting with the assistants and doctor everything about America’s Best in Harlingen was exceptional. Cannot thank Mary enough for helping me get two brand pairs at a great price with my insurance thank you Mary for working those numbers! Highly recommend this place!

Great customer service at the Harlingen location. They are always happy to adjust my glasses and careful to check to see what my insurance will cover.

Mary was rude and raised her voice to me I don't appreciate it when I was just trying to figure out why I couldn't get my prescription to go get glasses I have to wait for the end of the day or whenever they get done when they want it
