You’re right lolly I’ve been banking there forever when it was Texas State and then it was BBVA and PNC has different tellers and they asked me for my ID four times while I’m standing right in front of them. Gave me cash out of the wrong account but luckily, I had to Account with my name on it
This is convenient for me, but the one by Lubys on South 77 is much much better even though I’ve had friends who’ve had trouble there.
Maybe it’s time we all ditched PNC

I would give this branch no stars if I could. I was assisting a 95-year old man man who had done business in this location for 40 years. It took a solid hour to:
(1) Find out what his balances were in his checking and savings accounts;
(2) Transfer some money from checking to savings;
(3) Make sure the bank would mail his statements to him. For some reason they stopped doing this a few months ago.
The teller was nice but the first two steps took an incredible amount of time. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for the branch manager himself to 'help' with number three. He had a terrible attitude and demanded to see the elderly man's ID again even though the teller had already verified it.
Customer service was absolutely terrible, the exterior and interior of the property is run-down and looks like a ghost town. In spite of having very few customers in the lobby, these three simple requests took one whole hour.

ATM is junk has taken my money and this time it took my card and now they say it’s shredded by machine so I’m here across town waiting for a new one. How inconvenient.

Trying to open an account, I have been asked to come back for the second time. Just one gentleman in charge today, no tellers inside. This place looks like a cemetery and the guy does not seem willing to help.

BBVA was recently acquired by PNC. The whole transition has been less than professional. Unable to set up automatic payments before last day of transition. Unable to order checks until last day of transition. This creates a time of having a checking account but unable to write checks. Two days after now being a PNC customer, my credit card company (Capitol One) requested their monthly payment. PNC paid it as expected. The next day Capitol One requested the same dollar amount payment again. In excess of $6,500. While the payment was still showing as pending, I asked PNC to not make the second payment as it had already been paid. They said they could not stop a payment in progress. I guess I don’t know what payment pending means but I would have thought in this day and age a bank could stop the transfer of money. I bet if the roles were reversed, they could. They made the second payment and I am out that money until Capitol One processes my claim (3-5 business days and sends the check via US Mail. PNC said it would take up to 10 business days to look into my claim. I am leaving both PNC and Capitol One as I am just a number to them. They seem to forget that it is MY MONEY they are mismanaging.Do not do business with these people.
