This company is great! I’ve moved before, using other moving companies, but never had service like I did with Chon’s. Andy and Rick wasted no time moving my mom’s furniture, yet still found time to be friendly and chat along the way. They were even helpful as far as offering suggestions for the placement of things. If anyone is looking for a moving company that does the job right, look no further than Chon’s.

I called for help moving. The receptionist was a lovely lady to deal with. Was happy to have found a place that could help me.
I told her it was a move from a 2 story to another 2 story. Said it was fine.
The day of the move they arrived a little before 2...and made it clear they were NOT happy it was a 2 story. I overheard one guy bad mouthing the matter so I asked if they could do it...if not I'd find someone else.
One guy was nice and professional about it. Said they could do it.
They had an attitude the whole time.
They brought on another guy for help to the place I was moving to. Only moved my bigger furniture.
I was so disgusted with the service I told them I didn't want their help with all the boxes I had packed myself to make it easier for any mover.
They charge me 2 and a half hours when they were only here close to 2 hrs. At most.
All my furniture was either scuffed or broken/ chipped.
But I was really livid when I saw the top back of my leather couch. All scuffed from being rubbed against something in the move.
So I don't have expensive...fancy furniture but the lil i do have is the best this disabled widow can do.
When I spoke to receptionist about it.she apologized said she would call me back.
Never heard from anyone.
Have let anybody needing a mover know what they did.
Showing proof from my things. Will continue to tell anyone who asks if i know anyone..show them my proof too.
Would NEVER hire them again...they just don't care.

Excellent service! These guys were on time and promptly moved Mrs. Bailey ( an 87 year old elderly lady) to her new apartment. Thank you for being kind and considerate to Mrs. Bailey. She appreciates your help. I would definitely recommend this company and their excellent service to anyone that needs it.

They stole practically my entire closet: clothes, shoes, boots, coats, sweaters, cap collection, gifts, dresses with jean jackets, specially embroidered blouses, dressy under garments; My entire closet. They asked me to get them breakfast and sent one worker with me. By time I got back, they had off loaded my entire closet to another waiting person. I have been SO ANGRY. This happened like 22 years ago and I’m still upset. I worked hard to get my clothing situated for my job. I hope I never see the ring leader!!! DO NOT LET THEM PACK YOUR CLOSETS!!! Better Yet? DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They deserve all “0s”

When our movers failed to arrive at the promised time, I called the business to make sure everything was okay, and was told the men were running late. A few minutes later, I received a call back informing me that one of the movers couldn't make it to work. The company eventually called me to say they found coverage and would eventually arrive almost an hour later than scheduled. My appointment was for 9AM and this business is a ~5 minute drive from my residence, according to Google Maps. Moving is stressful enough. There are deadlines that have to be met involving multiple companies and people. For instance, the U-Haul truck I rented for this move had to be returned in another city by a certain time. My family who volunteered to transport my car needed to be back in time to rest for their jobs. Showing up on time is part of being a professional. Or at least that's what I was taught. I decided to ask the movers to leave after the 1 hour minimum, even though we had more boxes to transport. They failed to follow directions and even took apart my table without asking. It just wasn't worth the trouble. When it was time to pay, I was initially billed for the wrong time. I'm not sure if the man was trying to rip me off by playing stupid, but from start to finish, it left a bad taste in my mouth. It would be like me showing up to work late, then asking my boss for a raise for the work I didn't do. If you need moving help in the Valley, I strongly recommend Rockstar Moving. They are dependable, professional, honest, hard-working people. I hired them to move in the exact same furniture into my residence (see my previous review), so it's easy to make a direct comparison. Had they not been already booked, I would've chosen them again.

Nobody does it better than this family business. They unloaded for me in 1990 , relocated me in the Valley in 1991, and now 25 years later moved me to central Texas. No damages or breakages, and all work completed earlier and at less cost than estimated. There is something special about hiring a crew of decent, family oriented Americans who are all related by blood or marriage, and are proud of it.
