The cashier yesterday on 04/02/2025.i believe her name was brianna..I go in the store she had a line and she was just talking away.when it was my turn she was still talking to the customer in front of me.anyway I went home and realized she didn't charge me right.she forgot to charge me something and my ice cream was just thrown in the bag to where I got them and tops fell off she needs to pay attention to her customers and not be yapping away with other customers when she has a line.

This is the absolute worst DG in the Harlingen. Employees are RUDE and LAZY! A girl who has been working there for a couple years was so rude to me when I went in the last few times, and tonight I went in and she was just out of line with her tone of voice and rudeness. She used to have a big knot on her eye, but had it removed. I don't know her name but that's the only way to describe her. White with brown hair. Having a positive attitude, answering phones, stocking shelves, and tending to the register is part of the JOB. If you don't like doing it or know how to properly do it then find work elsewhere. Working at the damn Dollar Store isn't Rocket science, and it's NOT hard. Also one of the managers is involved in Orginized Retail theft. I won't be back to this location anymore.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! This location actually needs to be investigated, misleading sales tactics, disorganization, outdated products, clearance items that aren't really on clearance. I contacted DG customer support already and told them already so hopefully there is some progress. Just DO NOT COME HERE UNTIL THEY FIX THIS PLACE!! Ive posted on social media also already

I called them several times in a row and whatever employee is working right now 9-13-24 at 11:10 AM is blatantly not doing their job and being lazy. The phone rings a couple of times, and then is sent to voicemail. The amount of rings each time varies so I know someone’s sending it to voicemail. Then, when you try to call back it says “line busy”. I waited a few minutes, tried again and the same thing happened again. The phone rang, they send it to voicemail, and then make it share a busy signal during the follow up. It’s not that hard to just do your job. Part of it is answering the phone.

What is wrong with Dollar General employees. I’ve tried calling 2 stores NUMEROUS times and no one answers. If you don’t accept phone calls from customers, at least let us know.

The staff are always so kind and helpful. They helped me get everything on my list to shut down my house for a few days. Let me measure bins in my car. Before I bought them so I didn't have to return stuff.I always shop their 1st

Most merchandise doesn't have price if you ask even if they work there they don't know customer service is bad they're always putting merchandise up with carts in the way with Merchandise always different people

Super rude store clerk.So, I came in to drop off a FedEx package, and possibly look around for anything else I might need. There weren't any customers in the store and the clerk was at the counter, just leaning over.I smiled and politely asked if they accepted packages, not having ever dropped one off at a DG. With increased attitude in her voice- not just on her face, she asks me who the package was for. I double checked the package and confirmed it was for FedEx. She rips it out of my hand, as I'm attempting to just hand it to her. She does her thing behind the counter and just walks away from the registrar, leaving me there. I ask her for a receipt and she snarkily says "there is nothing else."From a business standpoint, the whole reason a partnership like this exists is to increase DG sales. This lady had me walking out when I HAD initially planned to browse and possibly make a purchase. That didn't happen here. ?Customer service is one thing and sadly lacking more and more these days. But this representative- for both FedEx and DollarGeneral- did not even bother to demonstrate an ounce of common courtesy.(Mid 30s Hispanic woman who was working a lil before 12p on Friday.)

The AC has been out now for a week, an old lady had to leave because it was too hot. Staff was told it was an electrical issue and it takes a long time to fix.
