After coming into the bank to open a new business account. They kept asking me what kind of business, kept telling them a promotional entertainment business. And they kept asking over and over what kind of business account, and I stayed I guess music entertainment. So they stayed they couldn’t open the account because I need to get with a loan officer. I stated I didn’t need a loan. So, after a few more minutes waiting she walks up to me and stated i would need to speak to someone else. Is shouldn’t be hard to open an account, especially with the amount of money that will be moved around. In the end it’s their lost, not mine . Only thing I was time.

Terrible customer service.
Called to ask details about business checking and the person I spoke with couldn't answer basic question. Just kept repeating the same phrases over and over again. Then told us everything is online. Will not be using them.

They only have one commercial line, the last time there were 7 cars in the commercial line and the other normal lines were empty, and they don't accept you on the normal lines... the ATM is also very slow to receive the money... they should be updated

A very disappointing failure by this bank caused me major problems. I went on vacation out of the country. I called the bank before I left and explained exactly where I was going and was assured that my debit card would work. Well, the fools at this bank declined a $12 purchase just purely out of incompetence. If you want to be treated like a clown than use this bank ran by clowns.

Best bank in Harlingen. I have used several others and switched accounts to frost. Quick service, friendly staff, actual humans to talk to on 800 line.

I liked the bankers. They are really nice and know what they are doing. The tellers are a bit rude. The main reason why I am giving it a one star rating is because I was asked for my social security number via email. I think this is a serious security risk and it should be brought to the attention of someone in charge. I don't mind coming to the bank with card in hand and having a photocopy taken of it for the bank's records, but I feel that email is not secure enough for this kind of sensitive information. I deleted the email on my end to make sure no one can access the information using malware or the sort, so I hope the bank's side will keep my social security number safe in their servers.
