Been here for about 3-4 years and every year the AC doesn’t work during the summer or better yet the roof is not insulated to protect against heat. I’ve suggested they buy commercial oscillating fans and they completely ignore that part of my email complaint (fans would do wonders) but as much as I love this place I’m going to have to call it quits since the issue is NEVER RESOLVED

Be warned: do not join unless you want to fight just to get your account closed. There are better gyms with transparent policies and actual customer service.

Don't sign up for a membership with Golds Gym. They are a nightmare to cancel! Also this place needs a lot of renovations considering how much they charge you each month.

Cool place came to check it out because I mainly go to the Brownsville golds but what I don't understand is if you got guy workers why send a lady into the guys restroom it made me real uncomfortable seeing her in there when I was getting out of the showers she shouldn't even be in there especially if us guys are in there

I've been a member of Golds gym Harlingen about 12 years now & I'm very satisfied. New gyms have opened up in the area however Iike my Gym & will remain here; specially with the recent new equipment added. The gym has a great community atmosphere, with friendly staff (always greeting as I enter & exit). I also appreciate the communication that manager Chris and Diana have, via email, with any updates related to my account in a timely manner & their willingnes to help when i have any questions. The variety of classes available & Sauna is also a plus, and I enjoy the different options available. 🤗 Im very happy at my Golds Gym Harlingen

I just wanna say that Golds has always been home for me . It was the first gym I joined when I started my fitness journey and although I've relocated they have been there to help my family. Recently Diana and Chris who have helped me throughout the time I was there accommodated my daughter with a summer membership with no hassles. I highly recommend Golds gym! Feels great to know my daughter will be taken care of by familiar faces like Diana R.

Had a great experience for the first time going. Enjoyed the environment and the options of the machines they have. Julian was great help with signing me up and explaining everything and shown me around.

Clean gym. Lots of machines and free weights so even during peak hours I’m usually not waiting on something. A lot of cardio machines as well. Staff is nice and friendly. One of the better gyms I’ve been to :)
