Amazing customer service!
Anyssa noticed I was checking each register for the shortest line because I just needed to load my H-E-B debit card before starting my grocery shopping. She immediately stepped up and opened a register just to help me out. Truly appreciated! Everything at HEB is always better!

Stay away from the organic produce, the section where carrots, celery, cilantro, beets …that corner because they’re not thoroughly washing the produce. It’s filled with flea beetles. I went on Wednesday and I’m still seeing them on my kitchen counter this morning and through out the day . We had to call to fumigate! Stay away from that section.

HEB is great and give it a 5 stars but do not get the organic produce section from the back corner where they have spinach, carrots, cilantro area, it’s full of bugs. I hadn’t seen that & took a while to remove & had to fumigate. That organic is not like buy organic produce from Central Market or Whole Foods. Just be careful.

I bought a cake there yesterday, a tall older lady helped me. I didn't get her name but honestly her demeanor and the way she spoke to me was just awful. She looked at me like I was a nuisance, it was giving something for sure. The only time she was courteous was when her manager was standing behind me looking at some products. It told me that she could be well mannered, she just wasn't going to be like with me. I always feel super uncomfortable there but this one took the cake. Yes I made a joke. I had to, because if not I'm going to cry again.

Tried to send money thru Western Union. The woman got impatient and refused to help me. She asked me to spell the name of the person I was sending money and when I misspelled it and tried to call the person she refused to give me service. She told me to step aside so she could assist someone else then when I tried to explain she kept refusing. Talked to the manager who basically did nothing. Never giving this place my business again. Ever.

Almost all of the prices for all your groceries needs are cheaper at HEB than in Wal-Mart

HEB is HEB. I prefer to shop there because their produce is consistently a higher quality than anywhere else. I also prefer their proprietary brand as well as the Central Market and Hill Country brands. In other words, to me this means being able to buy Texan.
