Horrible experience with Hino after 18yr of services. Yolanda from the Harlingen office is unprofessional. Too long to write everything in this review but that department needs to learn some etiquette in communication. It appears there is no discipline if there was the employees would not be disrespecting the customers.

i went in to get a 15 lb tank filled , i had to pay for 20 lbs,and i had only a 15 lb tank,what a ripoff,they scammed 5 dollars, and dont fuel there and try to get a reciept for the fuel because they will not give the right reciept,i will take my personal and company business some where else

If you see a four or five-star review for this company ignore it they are related to an employee or are one themselves. This company especially the Brownsville office is the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. Liars one and all do not believe anything they tell you and it's not just this company it's every doctor's office, laundromat, fast-food joint, and business in the RGV. The attitude down here is "Who needs customers". "Reply"Thanks for the pre-scripted reply I have given you over 2 years of my business and every person I have talked to in Harlingen and Brownsville made promises that they never keep. Please don't think that people will be fooled into thinking you care. I have already talked to your answering service this morning all of your offices are closed and there is no one in the office to send this message as today is July 4th. Oh, and they also told me that everyone they talk to has the same problems that I do and told me the reason I did not get my delivery yesterday is that all the drivers were sent home early, and only half of your scheduled deliveries got made. This is a reoccurring problem as the driver that handles Sunset Palms RV park has to leave work many days at 2 pm and has left us without service for many days in a row many times over the last two years then shows up like nothing's wrong a week later. I have even offered the manager at the Harligen location to take the Brownsville location on as it's manager for 15 dollars an hour and would end the problems at that location but they must be a family member because keeping the current worthless manager is more important to you than taking take care of your customers. How's this for specifics?

Online does not work and when you call they say you cant get the discount ordered online. I will be going elsewhere.

I wasn't on their delivery list, but when I saw the HinoGas truck in my neighborhood I flagged the driver and he accommodated me quickly. I would recommend them to anyone needing propane. The driver even gave me an orange card to put in my window next time I need a refill. Great service!

Great staff and customer service! Was in and out with my propane tank and prices are phenomenal. Even through the freeze this company was able to help me and my family out so we didn’t freeze through the storm. Thank you.

Called this company because it was close to my elderly aunt's house when her hot water stopped . The people are professional and kind Yolanda and Sergio are who I worked with to solve the problem and found out in the conversations they are not her Gas provider . But inspite of that Sergio called again the next morning to see if the other company had corrected the problem .. What nice man ..great company. Switching asap

Great customer service, attended by phone with Charles, thank you so much!My elderly parents, needed gas service today! , they had not checked earlier and we find out they are almost out. We called their older gas co. They couldn’t help, next available 1 week and a half. (Really!!!) Hinogas (Charles)made quick arrangements to come right this minute, with this cold and the weekend holiday, the staff will be out. We greatly appreciate your understanding and we will stay with Hinogas.

I had an encounter with Sergio, a Hino Gas employee, as he was on his route. I asked Sergio a question and was expecting just a response and instead got an experience, an excellent experience. Sergio went above and beyond my expectations to provide that remarkable service.Humbling and excellent experience, beyond friendly staff. Highly recommended company for your needs.

DO NOT BUY PROPANE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THEY'RE TOTAL CROOKS...unless you're family. They don't even deserve one star! No wonder they only have a 3.4 approval rating. They just shrugged and said oh well, it's whatever price we decide to charge. ? Didn't even try to make this customer more satisfied. We live and travel in a motorhome. We called for propane on Mon, 4/18 and was scheduled for 4/20. We waited ALL day and no one came and no one called. I called back and they finally got out here today, 4/21. They filled our on board tank and a standalone grill tank - 17.3 gal - and the charge was $72.64!!!! WHY? Because it costs more if you have a motorhome than if it's for a standalone bottle. WHAT? All the propane came out of the same truck but it's various different prices depending on where it's going to be used. WTH? This is a huge racket!! Don't call these thieves. Call Atkinson. We used them at our other park with no issues and MUCH BETTER PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Save yourself the heart attack when they hand you the bill.

1. Poor communication. After paying for the tank I never received an update. I had to call them. They said they were waiting for the order to be shipped to them.2. After receiving the order, I never received and update and when I called the guy said he was about to call me to schedule the delivery.3. When the delivery date came, their delivery truck broke.4. I had to call them many times to get an update.5. When they finally installed the tank it was in the wrong location we had agreed upon.6. The base was supposed to be cement and afterward they said I was the one who had to have the base ready for them.7. The installers cut my internet cable. Afterward they said I was the one who had to let them know where any cables were.8. They do not take responsibility and always blame the customer or the equipment.9. It took approximately 2 months for delivery and install.I would NOT recommend them for residential.
