Needs better staff, charged me for bringing a guest* whenever the so called guest has his own membership card. Wanted to pay for a week pass, it was a bit over time. But the office was still open with a worker just standing there obviously not paying attention* considering I could’ve snuck a guest in. We chose to ask if we could, were told no and asked why we wanted to pay.. it’s pretty obvious we’re paying to gym up. But furthermore, told us no and repeatedly asked if I let the so called guest in* even though we had gone there the past 5 months. Wanted a week pass bcuz I was going back to school. Got charged 55* with no new date in my membership, because it was a fine. 3 days later my membership is expired and want me to pay a whole another 27*. Would’ve spent 82$* in 1 month for what is worth almost 4 months of yalls gym. Worker wore glasses *Male, I think* chose to give me attitude, and kept staring at me as if I did the worst possible thing. again, could’ve easily snuck the guest in. But chose to ask and if not we’d have left.
Edit: a younger lady had let us pay bcuz she was there even after hours at the gym.
This is why yall got a 1 star from me. Gym is a solid 8/10though.

Such a great community that has been built in this RGV gym. Nothing like it around. Always greeted by those at the front desk. Made some friends on my fitness journey at this gym! Thanks Iron Core!!

This is hands down the best gym in Harlingen!!! Staff is always friendly sign ups are hassle free and they are open daily. If you're looking for a gym that treats you like family this is it look no further!!

Felt as the staff is very unprofessional. Moreover, could not get through my workout in peace due to having to deal with false allegations. Will not be returning.

Very basic gym . . . no locker room . . . no parking lot . . . but you can dress anyway you want so I like it

Very picky about gyms, but I actually had a great experience at iron core. They had good machines, good amount of dumbbells, and a good atmosphere. Came in on a day pass and the front desk was super friendly and helpful which I really appreciated! However I did find the actual gym section wasn’t the cleanest (people not wiping down their machines) but every other part and the restrooms were clean, so no complains there. I definitely will be back!

Nice gym, has a posing room (with really nice lighting), has communal amenities such as a tripod and belt, and overall a nice place to workout. Bit older machine wise but it's nice

Limiting day pass or week pass users to 9am to 8pm schedule is complete garbage, do better.
