This dumb place charges you for chips and salsa and they don't tell you even after they offer them. CHIPS AND SALSA IS FREE EVERYWHERE ELSE! Be prepared to pay an extra $3.25 plus tax.BUNCH OF THIEVES! BOLA DE RATAS.

Flavorless food, anyone who knows Mexican food does not expect to find it

Incredibly fast service at a busy time. Excellent Asada plate and chilirelleno on the mexican plate. Nice salsa with the chips, worth the $3.95 for unlimited chips and salsa. Bargain meal prices but you pay for all items.

Seriously have NO IDEA why this restaurant is rated so highly. Nothing is good.

Always love Pepe's! My favorite is the Jalapeno soup. On the appetizer menu, it is enough for a meal: chicken, rice, avocado and cheese with garnish of onion, jalapeno, cilantro. Chips and salsa are always fresh. The botana is also great. They do use Amercian cheese (I'd prefer cheddar or jack) but the fajita meat is tender and lean.

Liked the botana for two, but I've had better elsewhere. A good time was had by my grandkids, my daughter, and myself.

The papa was so delicious and fresh! The service was awesome I wish I asked for the waiters name to give him a shout out ? everyone was so respectful and they have the best chips and salsa for sure! The ONLY downfall was the Tea is lipton and lemonade wasn't like an Agua but all drinks free refills under $3 if your on a budget they got a variety of plates under $10 I love it here I just hardly go because it's always packed lol luckily when I went this past weekend it was kind of dead for the first time that ive seen but I love this spot family fave for sure ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Parking: When it's not packed it perfect when it's packed it can be tight

I've been coming here for a long time now and never was I disappointed. The food tastes good, all the wait staff are so friendly and helpful and many have been there for years. I don't know the owner, but that tells you a lot about him if the employees have stayed working at a place for so long. We hadn't been in a while, but Marcos, our waiter who's waited on us before noticed we hadn't gone in a while and still remembered what I usually order. The song "where everybody knows your name" came to mind right away. I could go on about how awesome the customer service is.

Awesome establishment, great food and drinks. There Fajita is to die for. Service is close to none around here.

Good food in a nice family atmosphere. Don’t plan on a late dinner, as it closes at 8 on Fridays. We arrived around 6:50 and had to wait 20 min for a table of 2. Ordered the beef and chicken botanas for two. Basically a big plate of nachos with beef fajitas, chicken, fresh avocado, and fresh tomatoes on top. I noticed a couple of previous reviewers said the food was bland. It’s true that they don’t add much salt compared to Houston Tex-mex, BUT they do put a salt shaker on the table! Beef fajitas were tender and well seasoned, but not salty. Everything looks fresh - salsa, tomatoes, herbs, etc. Charro beans were good, but again, many would want to add salt. Frozen margaritas were good as well. This seemed to me to be more Mexican than Tex-mex; all male waiters with traditional clothing, greasy but fresh chips, no flashy deco like a Chuy’s or Pappasito’s. We’ll definitely visit again if we’re in town.
