I was so tired last night, I was tempted to sleep in my car. Then I remembered a LA Quinta I stayed in... got there and it is now a Quality Inn. The young lady at the desk was AWESOME! Fought with a partially working microwave to heat up the quickbite I bought at HEB. Then hrough my luggage on the floor and collapsing on the bed. The next morning I discovered the horrid place I had slept in. Mold that was black ringed the shower. It was impossible to get the temperature to stabilize in the shower. The show head hardly flowed because it looks like it was busted... dirt in the drawers, footprint on the sheets of the bed, with black specs (not moving).

The service at the desk is nice upon arrival, but everything after checking in is just disappointing. The rooms aren’t really great. The pillows are so small, you might as well not use them, the blankets are thin, the bed is rough and hard. The tv is older, the lamps look rusted, the tub looks like it could use some replacing. The tub has paint chips, the faucet and shower have corrosion and rust on them. Like I said everything after the check in is just horrible.

Out of urgency we chose it, but I don't recommend it, we killed 10 “juanes” come out in the bathroom, the bed, the tables everywhere smells very damp, it is dirty, the bathroom is the same, the sheets are dirty, it offers breakfast but it has no variety, cereal and waffles, that's all.

There were cockroaches inside the room and in the bathroom/shower, right outside our room there were a lot of garbage bags even where there were no cans, disgusting

I'm so excited about my stay. It's probably been 12 years since I've stayed in an American hotel. I checked in, and the lobby smelled so good and was a nicely decorated Christmas tree! The front desk lady was very helpful and was willing to assist me. My hotel room smells very nice and is clean. The smell is unique and i like it. The air conditioner works well, and the bed is comfortable. The TV has many channels. I'm watching Forensic Files show now. There is a room service menu and menu for a nearby restaurant which brought back memories of me staying in hotels when I was a child. I would get so excited about room service menus. I'm excited about using the shower tomorrow. I'm tired from my long drive. Good night :)

We had a bad experience with this location. Not only was there a cockroach the size of a 50 cent piece crawling up the wall but the toilet broke and water literally exploded everywhere from the base of the tank. We had to be transfered to another room at midnight. Thankfully the front desk could accommodate us and but us in the next room as my mom is disabled and can't walk far. It was a rough night for the both of us with disrupted sleep.

The hotel is ok Nothing Fancy or Out of this world. Rates are average.front lady was very nice she had glasses do not know her name.

Was 30.00 more than the normal place we stay and rooms really need to be refurbished. Was excited about breakfast until we showed up and was only warm milk and cereal or waffles no juice and some okish coffee.

Tried sleeping but an odor kept coming at me not letting me sleep I later checked the room and realized it was the mattress that's smelled awful it smelled like something had died my parents smelled it to but the employee said he didn't smell a thing which I don't believe because it was very pungent but there were no stains on top or under the covers or anything of that sort to explain why it smelled the way it did which was what made it even worse for me we did ask to switch which we did but wouldn't stay here again or at all if your gonna pass through

My family and I had a traumatizing experience at this hotel Saturday night. I was woken up by the sound of the door opening at 5 am! Luckily we had the top lock and the door did not fully open. My husband immediately woke up to close the door and called the front office to ask if they had cameras and they said only by the pool area? We explained what happened and supposedly it was a mistake by one of their staff while trying to check out the people staying next door. Either way that shouldn't have happened. We were all shaken up thinking the worst and could not go back to sleep. My poor children were terrified. This could have been avoided by recheking room numbers.

Very disappointed! I was looking for an economical nights stay with breakfast. The room smelled like old cigarettes and mildew. The door keys didn’t work and had to drive back to front desk to get a new key, which was an extra step in our already exhausting trip. The pool was out of service as well- so no pool (should not advertise that amenity if it is not available). Staff were very inattentive. The breakfast was also a let down. No coffee, only waffles. I would have preferred to stay somewhere that didn’t include breakfast and spend the money eating a satisfying breakfast at a restaurant. I will never again stay here and would not recommend your stay unless changes are made there.

We have stayed at this hotel when it was La Quinta since 2010. The company my husband worked for gave discounts. It was nice having an HEB across street. We were in town to visit family and Quality Inn has bought the hotel. Lots of the hotel was under construction they are really fixing things and remodeling the rooms. Love it! The room we stayed in was by the pool . The room was spacious and clean, and I love the interior design. It's a work in progress you can't beat the price. This will always continue to be our home away from home.
