I wish I could give this place 0 stars too. My prescription was so off and the contacts he gave me were so strong. I told him when I first tried them on there that I couldn't see as I sat down in the chair in his office. He then says "well you found the chair didnt you?" He is a complete j**** Not funny. I hope nobody goes here because he has zero patience. Not to mention he advised me to drive home in them. Like what? So I go in two months later pushing this off due to KNOWING he would give me a hard time about the contacts he gave me. (This is like the worse feeling knowing your doctor is wrong but he's a completely BULLY) Well I went back to fix my extremely strong contacts and he walked me out as soon as a told him the prescription was too strong. I have a feeling this happens way too much (just look at the reviews). He needs to retire.

Never had a bad experience here, wait time is understandable considering the location and how busy it can get but they have great staff

worse place to go. My contacts "supposedly" got ordered like 2 months ago and they still have not arrived! WORSE PLACE TO VISIT, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. They keep you on hold forever.

This place is not worth any of the prices. Terrible service. We made an appointment for 10am. When we showed up, they said the doctor wouldn't be in until 12 so we'd have to wait. Later we find out he's not coming until 1pm. Apparently, this has happened to a couple of my friends at this place before as well where they schedule appointments and make them wait for hours for the doctor to show up. It's not worth the time or money to use this place.

First time I got contacts it took 3 weeks to get them in and I got barely any help putting them in. Went back to get eyes checked again so I could order new ones, office opens at 10, I get there and he won't be in until 1. What's the point of even being open?

Our whole family goes to see Dr. Somerlin. He and his staff have been helpful, courteous, and professional every time we've been in. My husband once received an incorrect perscription (he needed readers), went back in and they corrected the issue no problems.

Terrible customer service. I ordered contacts three months ago and never recieved them, was told on a consistent basis that they were on "back order". I have been a long standing patient for nearly 10 years and the service just got worse and worse. I was given trail pair contacts for over two months two different prescriptions and found it amazing that they had so many trial pairs, but not my actual order of 90 day dailies. I finally requested a refund as I moved from the valley and was told it would take ten business days. Three weeks later I still haven't recieved the check and found out that they wrote down the wrong address. If anyone knows the number to their home office please let me know I was given an address and highly doubt its correct.

Long wait and prescription was wrong. On second visit to fix his mistake Summerlin was rude and rushed, saying I was lucky to get in as he had a flight to catch. I will not be using him again.

IF I COULD LEAVE A 0 STAR REVIEW I WOULD.I called about making an appointment and they said "There is no wait just come on over. We will get you in right away." Something to that effect. I arrive and have to wait 45 minutes standing around in the mall until I actually get in to see the eye doctor. I had to have a follow up appointment for contacts as my eyes were red. OK no problem. I pay $160 and make an appointment for a few days later for 12PM. I show up at 11:50 and wait until 12:45 for the other people who did not have an appointment to see the doctor first. He then tells me, "yup you have a minor infection." Prescribes some eye drops and another $45 paid for that eye exam. I am to return in a week at which time they will have trial contacts for me to wear to check the prescription.I return in a week, wait the typical 45 minutes, and then he tries to have me come back the next day to get my contacts even though my eyes are clear. I disagreed and get my contacts that day. They didn't feel right and so I asked about that. I see the doctor again and he does a few checks and says they are good to go.I asked for a prescription to buy a years worth of contacts and they said I could buy 2 boxes per eye. (6 months worth) I informed them that is only 6 months and they disagreed with me saying the lenses are to be worn for 1 month. I showed them the box of contacts I was currently wearing which were 2 week disposables and they told me they were 1 month contacts. I asked them to show me where it says 1 month and they insisted they were 1 month contacts even though my previous doctor said they are 2 week lenses. And the manufacture says they are 2 week lenses. They insisted they are 1 month lenses.Things still don't seem quite right so on a visit back to my home state and my old eye doctor he does an eye exam and tells me the new eye doctor made my prescription way off! One eye was too strong to see things properly at arms reach. And he said the eye glasses prescription that they gave me was WAY TOO STRONG! My eyes are bad but good grief! This was the first time and will be the last time I go to see these people.THE WAIT TIME WAS RIDICULOUS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, AND INACCURATE EYE DOCTORS.
