It's shameful and out right pathetic that Harlingen can not bring in more and better business into the cities commerce. What's going on? The mall is way behind when it comes to having business. Where is the pride this city once thrived on. McAllen and Brownsville malls are doing way better and even their rinkadink shoppers centers are doing great. Instead of trying and working on pushing people out you should be working on bringing people in.

My childhood memories of shopping and spending time with my grandma & momma; then a few years later taking my son back to school shopping, oh how we loved this Mall. It was sad to see the shell it is now but such fond memories I can still smile just remembering the beauty it once was. Branding Iron Burgers & China Pantry are open and still serving the delicious foods, we had a wonderful time and great lunch. Will return to mall walk and have lunch again soon. Hope someone puts some TLC into the building and brings it back to it's former glory.

This mall is a joke. While the malls in both Brownsville and McAllen are thriving, this mall is on life support and is about to die at any moment. Same can be said for this city as well, but that's a completely different topic. There are more empty stores than filled stores. An entire section of the mall that led to where Sears used to be is completely closed off. Communication with mall management is almost nonexistent. If i try to call the number on Google i get a "this number is no longer in service" message. I even tried calling the number i was given on a business card and couldn't get it to ring. If i walk into the office to ask for assistance i can only talk to security guard and if i ask to speak to someone in charge they tell me they don't get into the office till after 12 p.m. Bathrooms are abysmal. One bathroom never has soap and stinks all the time while the other one has broken sinks so literally everyone is walking around with dirty hands afterwards. During the summertime the mall gets warm because they don't always turn on the AC when it's hot. If you're a vendor for their market days or you work at the mall you'll be walking to your car at the end of the day to a pitch-black parking lot because they can't even afford to turn on the lights in the parking lot. And speaking of parking lot you can hardly see the stripes on the parking lot so people are always parking wrong. Not to mention they have no security cameras in the parking lot and no longer have a security car driving around the parking lot, even during the Christmas holiday when security is needed most. This mall does absolutely NOTHING to attract new business to it and honestly it all starts with ownership and management and clearly neither of them care enough to do anything to make things better. In all honesty the best thing that could happen to this mall is that someone buys it and knocks the whole thing down and builds a new mall in its place. If i could give this place a zero out of five stars i would because even one star is being too generous for this worthless mall. The mall is literally the heart of Harlingen and it being an empty husk on display for all the people who pass by our city seeing it along the highway is extremely embarrassing. The owners and management have no shame and take no pride in anything they do.Oh and i forgot to mention that there are times you can't even get into the mall because they forget to pay their light bill sometimes.
