I waited in line, and the blonde pharmacy tech ignores me to go on facebook to show her coworkers pictures instead of helping me. Good job to Sylvia because she was nice enough to ask me if I needed help. Get techs who actually care

Took a while to get my medicine because I got there one half hour before lunch and then they filled it afterwards. Know lunchtimes! However, it was the only place that could fill them after trying five other places. Also, few places to sit and wait at Walmart.

My Complaint to WALMART PHARMACY - JOE a new unprofessional, hot headed Pharmacy Technician. On 01/19/2020 at approximately 12:44 pm I received a phone call from a Walmart Pharmacy technician named Joe. He explained to me that they had made a mistake of not charging me the full amount for a prescription that I picked up last week and that I owed around $13.00. I explained to him that Walmart pharmacy made a mistake and did not give me a second part of my prescription and that I needed to pick it up. He told me that it was not Walmart's fault it was "what they told him" (from the doctors office I presume). I then asked him to clarify what the phone call was for as I wasn't sure if he was collecting money or advising me that the second part of the prescription was ready for pick up. Joe then became very frustrated and said in a very condescending tone : "YOU KNOW WHAT!?? ....just forget it ....keep the $13 !!!". Then Joe hung up on me. I called back and the Pharmacist on duty picked up the phone. I asked if the prescription was ready and I explained that his pharmacy tech Joe had hung up on me. He apologized for Joe and asked that I come in to pick up the prescription because it was in fact ready. About 15 mins later I arrived to the Walmart Pharmacy where I was first in line and where I met Joe in person. I gave him my information and that is when he called his co-worker Michelle who came to assist him with the transaction as he did not know what to do. She came and corrected him and explained to me that they made a mistake only charging me half the amount for half the prescription that they gave me the week prior. I said "according to Joe I owe you money." Joe then defensively responded in a rude tone " well that's what they told me!" I said "But you hung up on me right ?" Joe says " well you weren't being very nice " I told him "I didn't have to be nice (even though I did nothing or said nothing for him to hang up on me) you have to be, you are the professional that works here not me!" He responded with " That's fine." Then Michelle charged the remainder of the amount and left. Michelle was knowledgeable, patient with her incompetent Co-worker and professional with me. I signed for the prescription and Joe gave it to me with a "Thank You". I did not respond. Never in my 4 years of getting mine and my families prescriptions at Walmart have I ever been talked to like this, hung up on or experienced such rude condescending behavior from a pharmacy technician. Joe needs training on how to deal with customers and needs to issue an apology for his actions. It's not the Pharmacist job to apologize for their rude employees. Joe should be more respectful and professional to the customers. His behavior and actions were unacceptable. If he lost his temper on a mundane phone call with me, I could only imagine how Joe would treat someone else that is more agitated and being verbally abusive. I'll be happy to change this review if Walmart takes accountability for their Tech Joe's actions.

This pharmacy offers no customer service. They are very disorganized. I arrived at the time I was told my prescription would be ready, it wasnt. During my second time standing in line to pick up my prescription I saw many possibilities for improvements that would save time and improve customer service.

The pharmacy from Walmart In Harlingen they are so rude, and they take for ever. I was waiting from 11:30 to 4:30 in pain waiting for medication. They could not read the prescription, the Dr.proscribe to many pills, why did I need the medication for. Were did it heart. I just ask for my prescription and left. Never using their pharmacy again it sucks. I came to HEB no questions s ask 20 minutes I got my medication. Thank you HEB.
