“I have been going to Discount tire in Haslet for 5 years. I have always been treated with the utmost respect. The folks are very friendly, polite and helpful. These days it seems like a lot of people have an I don't care attitude when you visit their establishment but not true of these folks. Everyone I've dealt with have can do attitudes and make a point of making me feel they appreciate my business. I have recently moved away from Haslet but still come back here for service even though there is another store closer to me now.”

They always have treated me as an individual customer, listened to my specific complaints about my cars, and addressed every single question. Highly recommend.”
“I feel so lucky to have found an honest mechanic that I can trust. I will always go here as long as I'm in the DFW area. Been here once so far for an oil leak. Turns out I needed my turbo replaced, it was cracked. Once I noticed a new leak almost a year later, I just knew the right place to go was right here again.

I had an appt at 8a soon as they come out the they call out my car to make sure I get in first, that usually doesn't happen, I usually make appts and ppl who walk in first get seen first so that was a major plus. Then they hype & hyping each other up like, "Let's do this." I was diffently feeling positive energy. Will be back to this location every time. Good job guys.”

“These guys are awesome. Yesterday my wife hit something and blew out her tire. Her car did not come with a spare. I called Texas Tire and they took care of us. I brought the tire to them and they had a brand new one on in 15 minutes. They all had great attitudes and very professional. I will highly recommend them to my friends and family.”
“Pulled in at 6:51pm for urgent help with a flat repair. Since the store closes at 7pm, I fully expected to leave the car for the following morning. Not only did they fix my flat; they did it with a smile on their faces! Very appreciative that they stayed when others surely would have turned the customer away.”
“They're definitely my favorite place for getting new tires. They're open on Saturdays and evenings which certainly helps. If you go on a Saturday, get there early or you'll be waiting a while.
While other tire shops would try to BS me and tell me I need to buy new tires when all I need is a tire patch, Hamm's would give me what I ask for and patch my tire and take care of the problem! I had this happen one Friday afternoon and Hamm's patched my tire when it was ten minutes before closing. I'd go back and tip the guy, but didn't think to at the time.
I don't think their waiting area has been updated since the 80's and definitely looks vintage. Hardly a deal breaker.
I'd buy Hamm's shirts if they sold any.
I recommend Hamm's and would go back myself if I still lived in the area.”
“This place is by the far the BEST mechanic shop ever. I have been going here since I was 16 (I’m 22 now) and they have never let me down. They are always so honest and kind. They will always be very straightforward and never kick around the bush. Their prices are very clear and you never have to question or be concerned about over charging. Larry is one of my favorites too, a wonderful man who I look for everytime I show up. Thank you guys!”
“Rented a U-Haul van here. Great experience. I was having trouble with the U-Haul app, and the owner came out and offered to take care of the paperwork inside for me. Super nice guy. When I dropped off, he asked me if I needed a ride home too. Definitely would rent a U-Haul from here again.”
