I would like to know where all these poor people are in Hawkins no offense but alot have jobs in Hawkins I know there is jobs out there the state can find um one there gonna have to drive to tyler or Longview or wherever to get to there work place get um out of poverty if there in that situation weird I see alot of people show up in nice fancy cars that look newer I don't know about this place looks like a thrift store or resale shop then a helping place ?

They're very nice respectable clean. Willing to help you with any situation that you're in always information about ways that you can get other help that they do not provide it. The building is very clean. The whole staff is awesome.

The pastor is very nice and helpful, but the employees there are rude. I was there w my mom and they didn't know I was her daughter, and they were walking up front taking really foul about my mom in front of me and other people... I told them that was my mom. They walked off. Very rude

I am upset with the management of helping hands. They recently had to be closed for a week due to covid. Due to being closed they had an abundance of donations. They started dumping the donations in the trash cans smashing dishes and then pouring salad dressing etc on it as so people would not go thru it. They were just trashing just about everything. I donate and shop at helping hands because it supports the poor in hawkins. Sad to know that my donations are trashed instead of going to people who can use it. I know that some items need to be thrown out but this was inexcusible.Solution- put it out for free or due a .50 cent day and put it out for the people or take itto another facility if you can't handle it.
