Think before you sign up. Worst gym ever, lack of amenities, they give you hard time to cancel the membership. I can’t go to the gym after that but they don’t let you cancel, you still being charge twice a month. Then I have to deal with the collection to pay $800.

During Covid the gym was closed and I canceled my membership in writing. Aparently the manager ignored it. Had to change my credit card number to get them to stop billing me. They continued “charging” me for months, until they accrued bogus charges of about $400, and then they sent me to some internal collections department. The collectors are aggressive and constantly blame me for “failing to follow the proper procedure” to cancel my contract. What a scam. I really liked the gym and enjoyed the flexibility to use other Anytime’s when I traveled, but their business practices are repugnant.

Small gym pretty basic equipment but it gets the job done. I go at 6am and there’s the same group of 10 there every morning. Never seen it too busy.

Not the newest equipment, but clean and nice facility with enough equipment to support the square footage. Of the metroplex AF I have been to, this one is in the top 5.

First time having an Anytime Fitness membership. I cancelled my LA fitness membership and signed up here mostly because this location was 10 minutes away vs LA which was about 30+I was paying $26 a month (no contract) for LA and had access to any location. I’m paying $56 a month here on on a 2 year contract. For me, Anytime was worth paying more for simply because I didn’t want to drive at least 1 hour (round trip) 5 days a week. That’s about 20 hours I saved myself by going here.Outside of that, the variety of equipment is decent, showers are clean, gym is clean and it’s not too packed. I never needed 24 hour accessibility but I can see how that’s a value for some.If there was an LA fitness within the same distance, I would not have cancelled to come here especially for the price. Outside of distance saved, LA fitness would of been the better option.

When I joined the gym a year ago it was very pleasant, enjoyable, people went by the rules. The last 3 months, people taking there shirt off. Not just 1 or 2 people. Huddles of people. Especially at night in groups with no shirts. People that aren’t even a member of the gym breaking the door getting in. Why am I paying $44 a month to go there when their is no rules, people are coming in without a membership. That’s nuts. The gym membership is increasing to $50 a month as well.I confronted management and she looked at me and said there’s nothing she can do about it. That’s very sad to hear. They had a sign that said keep your shirts on and she took the sign off saying she can’t do anything about it. POOR MANAGEMENT. I took my shirt off once in the morning and got yelled at by members. I respectfully kept it in from there on out. I tried to email the owner, no response either. I’m sad for your gym and the management style.I’m not the only one that’s confronted her and got the same response. Your gym is failing. People have been there for years feeling the same way and your best response is I can’t do anything about it. I canceled my membership and never wanted to leave a bad review but you left me no choice. I would join a different gym if you’re thinking about this gym. I have nothing else to say but maybe you should start figuring out a way to keep your members, instead of losing them 1 by 1. Good luck

Update: we’ve done exactly what management has asked below and they do NOTHING. This place has become a social hour/day care for the high school kids. They don’t lift, they walk around without shirts on, leave equipment everywhere and screw around on everything. If you get there at the right time at night, you can catch them locking themselves two by two in the bathrooms for some alone time. This gym is absolutely awful. We plan on demanding our contract be cancelled. Why should we have to pay when these kids are breaking in? This place and the management/owners are a joke!We really enjoyed this gym for the first few months but lately the teenage crowd here has made it unbearable for those of us who need to get in and get our workout done and get out. The kids will take up equipment for long periods of time when the gym is packed, ensuring you aren’t able to get your full workout in. They leave equipment everywhere and aren’t respectful of other members. It also makes you feel very gross having to watch someone under the age of 18 workout without a shirt on. Really wish management would step up and control the situation a bit more.

My wife and I have been going to this gym for almost a year and have had a terrible time at it. There are management issues and the local kids use the gym as a small playground. I know I don’t appreciate working all day only to come to the gym to watch teenagers occupy numerous machines and weights with zero gym etiquette. Also, its an anytime gym in Heath not Venice beach muscle beach but the teenagers don’t seem to understand that and constantly walk around the gym shirtless making other members extremely uncomfortable. Moreover, a member personally informed me that he believes he received a staff infection due to the cleanliness and the actual facility manager is impossible to get ahold of to help solve these issues. I would highly not recommend going to this gym.

This gym is absolutely horrific. We have been members here for almost a year and it has progressively gotten worse. Starting as soon as school lets out, the kids start pouring in for social hour. They stand around in the middle of the equipment in groups, just socializing and keeping anyone who is actually there to workout, from doing anything. They leave equipment everywhere and are extremely rude and disrespectful. As soon as the staff leaves for the day, that brings in the kids without memberships. The ones in there either let their friends in, or they have learned if they just rip on the door hard enough they can break in. They are also locking themselves in the bathrooms for some "alone time". All of the issues have been brought up to management and they just shrug and say there's nothing they can do. Well we can, and we will be cancelling our membership immediately. Fed up with this sad excuse for a gym!

Front door is broken! Every night there's a ton of high school kids, that aren't members, that just rip the door open and fill up the gym! If you want a free gym that doesn't monitor who comes in and out, this is it! I am going to freeze my account next week and do the same thing, if this doesn't get fixed!

First this location is way better than the one in Rockwall. Way bigger and has great equipment. Point is to workout and be done and go.
