I’ve been a loyal Thumb Thumb customer for years—coming in three times a week, living just five minutes away, and consistently choosing your store over Kroger or Walmart. I’ve always preferred Thumb Thumb because of the customer service, but after today, that’s no longer the case.
I went to the meat section this morning and there was a young lady standing far away, not even acknowledging me. At first, I thought nothing of it, but when I clearly needed assistance, I heard a distant “Do you need anything?” No greeting, no “Good morning,” no “How may I help you?” Just a cold, distant question. To make matters worse, she didn’t even have the decency to come closer.
When I asked for chipotle or buffalo chicken, she rolled her eyes and told me they didn’t have it. I was literally staring at both options in the case! Then she just turned and walked away without offering any further assistance. I had to go ask someone else from the produce section to help me out, which was incredibly unprofessional.
Finally, an older woman came over and gave me the buffalo chicken I asked for, but she had a complete attitude while doing it, making me feel like I shouldn’t even have bothered coming to your store today.
It was 9:56 AM—way too early in the day to be receiving such poor service. If they were tired later in the day, I might understand, but this was ridiculous. It just makes me realize how people don’t seem to care anymore. I used to work in retail when I was 16, and I always overperformed because I cared about my job—knowing how many people would love to have it, especially in today’s economy.
When I checked out, the cashier was extremely friendly and polite, and I’d give her a raise if I could. Based on her service, I’d even consider hiring her over the young woman in the meat section. She even suggested I speak to the store director, as I wasn’t the only one who’d had complaints about this employee, but I chose not to make a scene first thing in the morning.
This experience has completely changed my view of Thumb Thumb. At this point, I won’t be returning, and neither will my family, friends, or neighbors. I’ll be sure to spread the word on Nextdoor and beyond—it's just not worth paying more for such poor customer service in a department where assistance is crucial. We deserve better.

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy since this Tom Thumb opened and it’s my preferred pharmacy. Mina is a wonderful pharmacist and Christian, Michelle, and the rest of the staff are very helpful and kind. My dog is usually with me when I pick up prescriptions at the drive through and the staff is always so sweet to her and they give her treats which means a lot to me. I wish I could complement each of the staff by name but I know them more by their faces than their names. They are a wonderful group of people and I’m so glad they are my neighborhood pharmacy!

The Supervisor Mina And the pharmacy worker Lauren. were absolutely amazing. I need it so much help with trying to get my prescription and they did everything to fulfill my needs. Great customer service very great communication and very polite. I live in Forney and I will travel to this pharmacy anytime thank you so much for your great hospitality. ?

As far as this pharmacy and those that work there have been fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to dock a star because of the texting issues they've have for quite some time now. At least 3 months. I just recently found out that they dropped the contract with the company that they used to text with, but haven't found a replacement yet. That's on the company to be on top of that. People need to know when certain medications come in almost immediately. Still a 4 star though, which to me is still great.

Went to fill paxlovid prescription here. Their systems are down indefinitely (3-5 days) and they can't run insurance. The cost is $1200 + out of pocket. It must be taken right after testing positive for Covid. The delay is unacceptable for prescription drugs, particularly for life saving drugs.

This is our local grocery store and they do have the freshest fruits/ vegetables. The store is very clean and and 95% of employees are very nice and helpful however there is a manager in the meat department by the name Joe that is very unprofessional and always has an attitude about everything . I have had numerous interactions with him and every time is the same attitude to the point where i can't enjoy the rest of my shopping. It seems to me that the meat department has gone down hill. I use to deal with a young gentleman named Gavin i believe and he was always very helpful and never gave me an attitude like Joe does. I now skip the meat counter just so i don't have to deal with him. Other than that the store is very nice just stay away from Joe!

I love shopping here to get a snack for work. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because they are kinda pricey. But I still like shopping here so it doesn't bother me to much. I highly recommend this store for anyone shopping that lives in Heath.
