I discovered this amazing little stop on my travels from Colorado to my grandparents house close to Ft. Worth! It’s now saved in google maps so I can make sure I never miss it!!

Not very nice people. While we were walking in the "gentleman" before us shut the door. Rude much! Kinda pricey too. Must visit though different experience for sure.

This is a disappointing updateWhat used to be a charming fruit stand with reasonable prices and great produce has tried to upgrade itself to more of a retail boutique. But they did so at the cost of selecting your own fruit and reasonable pricing. Now it's just a traveler trap.

Their peaches are great and they have lots of great canned good also. They recently moved their shop inside, which is so much more pleasant on hot Texas days.

Love the selection of fresh produce, peanuts, pecans, jellies, juice and syrups. We did purchase fresh peaches and pecans. Also, fresh yard eggs!

We always stop at Monroe's and loved it. However it has been nine years since we were through there. I will never stop again. The clerk did not even know if the peaches were freestone or not. Peaches were little. We always got huge juicy peaches in the past. Tomatoes were expensive but not fresh from the garden...they are hot house tomatoes. Jams and sauces...not made by Monroe's...read label. By being a roadside fruit stand people stop and buy thinking they are getting fresh from the garden. But they aren't. Save money...go to a local grocery store. Also....the peach trees that they had right by the road...gone...not even any new trees planted.

Lyla and Katherine were so kind as I came in searching for a place to change my babies. They have a large selection of spreads and dressings. Looking forward to tasting the red raspberry spread we picked up. Important note is that they don't accept cards.
