Great place to stop for fresh fruit and other stuff right along the US-287, just southeast of Amarillo.

The young man who helped me was a fine example of what a young man should be! It made my day! I’ll definitely stop there again! Best peaches I’ve ever had! They even have pickled quail eggs!

I got to Monroe's Peach Ranch very late in the fruit season and still found some very good apples and pears. I also got a good bottle of wine. (To bad the peaches were gone.) What was special to me was the good friendly service. I had a very nice long chat with the good lady there about growing fruit; and had an enjoyable visit.

Cute place and such sweet people! They had such a variety of summer produce, salsas, pickled items and jelly all at a reasonable price!

Was wanting some fresh locally grown peaches and vegetables. Drove 70 miles to find only watermelon and cantaloupe. Everything else was commercially grown and overpriced. Bought 2 cantaloupes and one of them was spoiled!

Clean, organized, very well stocked farmstand with a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies as well as canned gourmet items await you east of Clarendon on the US 287 at Monroe's Peach Ranch! There is one of these stands on each side of the 287, so they can get be accessed from either direction. Both stands are located at a highway crossover, so both have very easy access to both north and southbound US 287. We bought several varieties of things here today: cherry cider from Colorado, big red ripe local tomatoes, sweet dried pineapple chunks for snack, and a sack full of different preserves you can't get in the grocery store, like raspberry-rhubarb and sweet potato butter. Monroe's grows peaches watermelons and pears for the summer and apples in the fall. You can see the orchards along the 287. 5 fresh from the farm stars!
