If I could give it 0 stars I would. I had an appointment and mistakenly went to the wrong location. I got a call from them soon as I picked up this female shouted where are you?!? I've never heard any receptionist or Healthcare provider take that tone. I know I was at fault for mistakenly going to wrong location but they have no manners. Canceled my visit I'd rather cancel and wait than deal with that attitude from anyone. Didn't get a name but she had an Indian accent. Worst customer service and I was yet to even arrive there in person.

Some people do not belong in health care, the female named Chris who checked me in is the prime example. I’ve never been made so uncomfortable with healthcare as Chris made me feel, I came for healthcare and not to be talked down to or ignored when explaining symptoms. I told Chris I was leaving because she made me uncomfortable and she laughed when I walked out, hopefully I won’t be charged for the visit but if so I’ll have to dispute it.

I wish I had read the reviews. The same experience every comment discussed was mine as well. Gabriella Ugwu was cold, asked FOUR questions the entire visit, and just stared at her computer clicking. She wont make eye contact when she speaks to you. She also got short with me after claiming I gave her the wrong number to my pharmacy. When I showed her the website displaying the number I gave, she apologized dryly and continued clicking. Why hasn’t CVS responded to these awful experiences? How is she still sending people home feeling like they made up their symptoms? I’ve been sick for a week and while my Covid and strep were negative, she didn’t give me a diagnosis at all. Just sent me home with a cough suppressant. Why did I come here…

I was really worried coming today because i saw everyone else’s reviews about “Gabby”, especially because i came in without an appointment. Luckily the NP wasn’t gabbyThe NP, Ms. Desai, was outside the office and asked if I had one, i told her no, and she took me in anyways because I was the only one. super kind, listened to my symptoms/questions and was really professional.highly recommend if you get Ms. Desai

DO NOT COME TO THIS MINUTE CLINIC. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!! NP GABRIELLA WILL TREAT YOU LESS THAN HUMAN!If I could leave zero stars, I would. A 1 star rating cannot begin to describe the experience I had here. (My visit was on November 30th, 2023)First off, Minute Clinic means having to sit and wait for 2 hours.Second, the NP Gabriella has the absolute worst attitude. She was huffing and scoffing as I was trying to list my symptoms and I felt too intimidated to even continue, because with each symptom I listed, she rolled her eyes. I was tested for Covid, Strep, and Flu and was told they were all negative. The symptoms I had felt like strep throat but she told me it was “just allergies” and probably only prescribed me an antibiotic to shut me up. When she looked at my throat and ears (because I said I felt like I might have an ear infection on top of it), she rolled her eyes at me and did not give me any feedback when she looked with the light. I left her office bawling in tears. My significant other took me to the clinic and he was the only person who gave me any sense of comfort as he was there with me to watch the interaction, telling me she “was very cold, rude, and didn’t seem to care about her job”. This was the first time I’ve ever been seen at any kind of clinic and left feeling ashamed that I even showed up to receive care, feeling as though they shamed me for coming for “not really being sick” and its “just allergies”.I did start to feel a little bit better for about 2 weeks, but started feeling all the same symptoms again a few days ago. On December 17th I went to a different urgent care facility in Boerne where I was seen and treated right. They said I had tested positive for an aggressive case of strep throat and gave me a much stronger antibiotic. I explained to the NP there that I was told I negative 2 1/2 weeks ago, but she said that I was certainly positive back then for it to have gotten this bad.Honestly I think that NP Gabriella should not be working here if this is the care she provides. I’ve seen several negative reviews from the past year about her attitude and bedside manner. I wish I had read these reviews before coming here. I will never come back to this clinic and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The NP now is not any friendlier than the one a few months ago. Not a hello, would cut me off when I started talking, didn’t explain what she was going to test on, rude to the patient waiting after me.

NP gabby has been so rude both times I have seen her. She talks very quietly and gets short with you if don’t provide a detailed list of your symptoms to begin with because heaven forbid she has to go back and add another to your chart. I thought it was the physicians job to ask questions to get more information on what you’re experiencing ? I had a positive Covid test and she claimed I wasn’t sick and didn’t provide me with an inhaler refill or paxlovid. It’s really sad the way she acts towards patients considering they’re sick. Considering all the other negative reviews, you would think CVS would address this. I wasted $35.

Melissa and NP Gilg were extremely helpful in getting me my immunization shots and very welcoming! Went after 6pm so did not wait long at all and thankful to them for helping me get all my needed documentation.

Absolutely awful. I scheduled an appointment for my husband to go and get a strep test as he was showing all the signs & symptoms he typically does whenever he has strep. The clinician that saw him was incredibly rude and just overall seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. She refused to test for strep stating, "I'm not going to test for something when I don't think it's that." He walked out of there with absolutely no results and nothing more than a "take some tylenol." He was able to walk in to his standard doctor today and guess what?! He has strep. Big surprise. Don't waste your time and money going to this minute clinic. They will give you nothing but attitude and waste your time.

I’ve come here many times because it’s convenient and fast… but todays visit was very disappointing. NP Gabby sad to say, was very rude. Considering sick people are coming here for help/solutions/answers you would think the providers would be more approachable. At one point she attempted to scold me because I was coughing and couldn’t stop so she could perform a strep test… I mean I get that it could be annoying but I am sick and coughing isn’t controllable. Pretty sad when you have to stand up for yourself at the clinic when clearly already feeling ill. When I told her she didn’t have to be rude to me she rolled her eyes. I’m a patient person but truly if you hate your job that much you shouldn’t stay…. Reading other reviews it seems the clinic itself doesn’t care much considering Almost every bad review is directed toward her specifically.

My wife read the reviews and took a chance on them, all the same--now wishes she hadn't. "Minute" clinic my fat behind. She spent her entire lunch break waiting for her scheduled appointment that ended up being so late, she had to leave. What was the point of scheduling an appointment if you get there and have to wait another hour? Wish I could give zero stars.Do NOT go to this place thinking they'll be able to see you quickly. You will be disappointed.

Would give zero stars. The “practioner” Gaberlia Ugwu at the Minute Clinic is AWFUL! She does not have the temperament to be in healthcare or any customer service position. Despite the reviews she is still employed here. I also wish I read the reviews first. I will not return to this CVS. I asked for help and everyone said they could not help because she works in the clinic. I asked for a manager she sent a nurse.

I wish I could give this place zero stars I really do. Last night was by far the worst experience I've had going to any minute clinic. The first nurse I had did what any typical nurse would do she asked what was wrong and did the test that were asked witch was just Covid and flu... went back to waiting room to wait for practitioner who took 1 hour and 30 minutes to see me. As soon as I walked in Ms Ugwu asked "what's wrong with you" I told her my symptoms and why I was there she proceeded to ask if I did drugs as if she was just there to get prescriptions. During Apt she then called the nurse bc she could not find the results to my test that were both negative... while on the phone continued to go into personal matters with the nurse who was now off while I sit in the office with runny nose and low grade fever building up. Once she was off the phone she asked if I had a cough listened to my heart for maybe 20 seconds, did NOT look in my ears or nose or throat to try to find the root of my symptoms. Instead proceeded to ask for the phone number to the pharmacy I go to.. it did take me a second to find it bc I'm new to the area. She got extremely irritated and said she was just going to call it to the pharmacy at the location we were already at and I told her no bc it's too far. I told her she didn't have to be rude to me as it would only take if anything another minute for me to certify they were going to the right place. She huffed and puffed the rest of my Apt and did not go over the meds she was prescribing or why she was prescribing just handed me the paper work and scooted me out the door. I feel bad for anybody who has to pay for her services bc if I owe even a penny I would be fuming after the interaction I had with her. CVS do better!

Gaberlia Ugwu is the worst NP at this CVS clinic in Helotes. I have been seen by her, as well as my children recently and in past years and EVERY experience we have had with her have been horrible. She has the worst bedside manners I've ever experienced. She is rude, condescending, takes personal calls while you're in the treatment room with her, and she takes foreveron the computer, plus the wait time is very long when seen by her. The other NPs have been very nice, thorough, and see you in a timely manner. To bad there isn't a way to see who is working on the day you set up an appointment. I would never set an appointment with her! I wonder if CVS even looks at these reviews. I noticed all the bad reviews are based on visits with this particular NP!
