650 Sabine St, HemphillIts good. Good food at a great price. Everything seems fresh, and Staff is attentive. Its not the best mexican food i've ever had, but its pretty good. Cant go wrong, and unless you want to drive another couple of hours... this is the spot.

Fin & Feather Resort
245 Fin and Feather Dr, HemphillVisited in the middle of August for a 3 day weekend getaway. Extremely quiet because there were only a few guests here at the time we stayed. I imagine this place is hopping closer to hunting season etc. Exceptional property with views of the forest and access to water on the reservoir. Rustic cabins are in need of upgrades and updates, but are clean, had all the things you need for basic cooking, etc. Front and back porches for sitting out with your morning coffee.
