Hempstead autozone is the absolute best! Lisa, Veronica, and Byron were amazing help. My fiance and I broke down and barely made it there. We were able to scan codes, and they recommended a local mechanic. Lisa was a wonderful host while we waited in the AC and able to use restrooms while working through rental car, tow trucks, and mechanic shops. Such great small town hospitality going above and beyond to help us find local assistance. Thank y’all so much!!!

Lisa and Veronica are THE BEST!! 🙌🏽 I called a few minutes before closing, with a dead battery and they waited for me to arrive 5 minutes before closing! Veronica was amazing and changed my battery. Lisa offered me a cold drink. 5 STAR customer service!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

great people, they're willing to help to change batteries to ensure wiper blades. they even change out some headlight bulbs which is pretty cool. Great friendly staff.

Anthony is the old gentleman. This employee is unbelievable rude and severely lacks exceptional customer service. I came into the store for a simple light bulb. He acted as if he was not able to help me but immediately jumped go outside to help the customer who came after me. I’m not sure what the difference was between me and the customer after me but acting like you can not change a light bulb as an employee and man is insane. It took for another employee her name is Caydense she is so sweet and very helpful along with another CUSTOMER to help me which took less than 10 minutes. It is very sad how another customer is more willing to help me than Anthony who is an employee

When you enter the store you are not greeted, young man was on his phone sitting down. I returned two items that I did not use and even though the items had the security thing on I was still asked on multiple occasions if the items were used. Very disappointing experience.

The lady with the purple hair sold me the wrong motor oil twice. And got mad because of her mistake and called me rude because the damage cause damage to my car.The management supervior at the time told her to take off her badge. So I can not get her name note.I go to Praire View A&M Unversity and my classmate told me that had the same problem to the same shift member. I don't know there name however, they worked March 29,2024 around 11:30am. Ps her name is not even on the recipt.

Went into this location got windshield wipers. I was helped by James. I gave him my car description. He showed me the variety of wipers. I noticed that they were priced higher than I wanted to pay. He informed me that the others were priced higher but the ones I had were same quality if not better. After checking out, James graciously agreed to replace my old wipers outside in the rain.

Thanks guys for my oil filter and oil!! This store has always helped me when I needed something. I’ve worked at a az before it’s funny to me to see people get on here and complain about not having people do things for you. It’s a auto parts store not a mechanic shop! I’m a woman and can install my own battery!! Good service friendly people! I’d recommend this store!

Today I came in with a dead battery and wanted to get a charge and see what else I can do I was told to come back in two hours and when I came back it was two older men inside who I asked if they could check if my battery was charged and the battery’s charge was still weak I decided I’d just leave with the battery to get a new one and when I asked if they could help to put it back they told me the gentleman who put it in was on his lunch break and wouldn’t be back till 3pm and the current time when I asked was 2:20pm so I asked if there would be a way he could put it back in and he said he doesn’t like to work behind someone else work when all I was asking was for my battery to be put back in which I don’t know how to do he said I’d have to wait and I went out and tried to put it back in and came back to ask for help because I didn’t know what to do and then he began being rude about how he won’t put it back I had to leave and walk in again and ask him to explain why he couldn’t even try when it’s just a battery and that’s when he proceeded to be rude and noncompliant when I never escalated the issue and he dismissed and said he’d come out after telling me to go do it myself afterwards I asked for both men’s names and one gave me a name but they removed their ids so I don’t believe it’s a real name and refused to give me the others name
