I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this law office to help others understand what they might be getting into.
As echoed in several other reviews, this office has a serious communication problem. You might speak with Sylvia once—if you're lucky—throughout your entire engagement. Most of the communication and case handling is done by her assistants, Clarissa and Jazmin. They reach out infrequently and often provide only partial information, leaving you in the dark about the bigger picture.
As someone dealing with a first-time speeding violation in Wallis Municipal Court, I was hoping for guidance and clarity. Unfortunately, I received neither. At one point, I was told by the assistants that the office was close to securing a dismissal of my ticket, which made me very happy. Clarissa advised me to hold off on making any payments until she received the plea paperwork. I informed her that I would be traveling internationally for a few weeks but would make myself available if anything was needed.
After returning, I called Sylvia’s office dozens of times—without a single response. No one followed up to let me know whether it was time to pay or complete the safety course. I assumed everything had been resolved. Months later, I received a court notice to appear. In a panic, I reached out again and finally heard back from Jazmin, who assured me that completing the payment and safety course would resolve the issue. I followed her instructions immediately.
Despite this, I received yet another court notice—again, not communicated by my legal representation. In court, the judge ruled that the ticket would remain on my record because the payment and course were completed too late.
In hindsight, I deeply regret hiring this office instead of dealing directly with the court. That decision cost me dearly.
If you're considering hiring Sylvia for a speeding citation in Wallis, DON'T DO IT.

Sylvia is an excellent lawyer who gets the job done ! My husband and I are very grateful for her. She is the type of lawyer who will gather all information and use all the resources in her power that she needs to help you on your case. She was very patient, very informative, and very knowledgeable of what was the best out come for us to help my Husband and his case. Thanks to Sylvia he is a free man again and she is worth every dime. She will do all she can to fight for you and get you on the right track.

Update: Jazmin took accountability and was honest she emailed me back and handled my matter in a couple hours. Sometimes we need to understand that people are busy but trying to do their best and I can respect that when it comes with honesty and no sugar coating. Thank you for all your help and resolving my matter

I have been knowing Sylvia on a personal level for years and she was always been a kind person. However, some of the communication is not great, I think that it is more so to do with her office staff, not Sylvia, having said that, I give her 5 stars, but the office staff, maybe a 3. They, esp that Domiquez chick is really not that nice, she sends information about a court date within 1 week vs calling and/or sending the information via mail,

Hello,I can not say enough about Mrs. Cedillo, she diligently worked with us for over 3 years to resolve a very unfortunate case. Throughout the entire process she educated us on what was occurring and ensured we understood the options before us. Even when we felt helpless at times, she continued to encourage and uplift our spirits. Knowing she was fighting for us gave us hope. She never stopped fighting and saw this process through all the way to the end. My family is whole and we can put this entire nightmare behind us. Horrible service , slow, never reaches out ! Disappointment in their service.Never again will book her again for a traffic ticket.Never return calls, never reaches out.Screamed at me for calling and asking information about my case Bc she never kept me updated, nor sent out my info. Unprofessional!I asked multiple times for my receipt ! Just for a receipt it been over a month and half and I still don’t have receipt.Update: she stole my money, can never contact her. Don’t ever book with her.

I don't ever review anything. So if I review a business or a product, it must be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Unfortunately, in this case The Law Office of Sylvia Cedillo is exceptionally terrible.The Law Office of Sylvia Cedillo has poor communication, lack of professionalism, and did not provide adequate legal consultation. I wouldn't hear from them for months at a time. They did not provide adequate feedback and clarity when I would send over legal documents. When I tried to very calmly explain my frustrations Sylvia Cedillo did not own up to the mistakes of her firm, did not keep her professional composure, while becoming audibly emotional over the phone before hanging up. Ms. Cedillo was not willing to listen to what I, the client had to say out of concern. Also, I feel Ms. Cedilo's firm did not fight harder for me, from the beginning, which should have been a warning sign. I strongly do NOT recommend the Law Office of Sylvia CedilloSave your money, save your time.

So I found myself in a bit of a situation dealing with battling for custody of my children, I originally hired an attorney that drained me of my retainer and prolonged the process for a solid 4 months. She didn’t listen to anything i wanted nor did she communicate with me.I searched the internet and found Mrs. Sylvia Cedillo, when I tell you she is my saving grace, I literally owe my life to this heaven sent angel. It’s hard enough for a father to get sole custody of his children, but she did it!! She took her time with me, heard my story and worked extremely hard to make sure she could represent me properly. She brought my babies home and I am forever grateful!There wasn’t a single moment in my cases process where I wasn’t informed about what was going on nor did I ever feel not confident about who was representing me.If I could give 100000 stars I could, Mrs. Cedillo if you see this, thank you so much and god bless you ??⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Successful case thanks to Mrs.Cedillo and her team, Jazmin and Clarissa. 3 dominate women under the same roof. I was wrongfully convicted for a crime I did NOT commit. She pulled a miracle for me and was able to set my bond and immediately started working with me to prove my innocence. Sylvia is my guardian angel. This meant a lot for me and my family. By the end of everything she has become very close to my family and I. Thank you for everything.

Its is impossible for me to under how Ms.Cedillo has any negative reviews! My entire life and career was riding on her. She worked diligently on my case! I had fired two attorneys prior to hiring Ms.Cedillo. She was the only one thats showed compassion and clearly was interested in saving me. Highly recommend her. She will make you work very hard for yourself but I can assure you she is working twice as hard behind the scenes. Highly recommend her and her team! Goood Luck!
