Worst bank ever. They lie to you to get you to open an account. Then they don't disclose all their fees. Surprise fees appear in your transactions. You try to contact customer service and they treat you like you're a criminal. I've been banking for over 25 years across the US, and this is by far the worst bank ever. I've never before been treated by a bank this poorly. I'm in the process of finding a better local bank so I can move my money to a bank that doesn't cheat their customers. The staff could use some training on customer service too, but then why bother, they get top award for worst bank ever, so why would the staff treat anyone with respect?

Terrible customer service! Have been difficult to work with to resolve very simple issues. Did not notify us of making a long standing savings account "dormant". Required some rather silly steps to re-activate it...

They have screwed us more than once on overdraft fees. I moved money into a second account like I always do and the money has disappeared and then they charged an overdraft fee when I called in about it they weren't willing to help and make things right and its close to Christmas for crying out loud. We have had this only happen a few other times but it's been years since it has happened and we've been banking with them since 2014. I'm sick of them and sick of how they weasel their way out of things and we are the ones hurting for the money. We will be looking into other banks!

My parents have banked with Texas Bank for over 30 years. For years they received good service and had a good relationship with the bank. However, EVP Paul Morris has ruined that relationship. My parents approached Texas Bank for a loan to buy a commercial property in Henderson. They were buying the property from their next door neighbor. They spoke with Paul Morris, applied for the loan and before they could get home from the bank, the seller had received a call inquiring about purchasing the property. When my mother confronted Paul about it, his answer was basically that all is fair in business especially because they were not under contract yet. Talk about unethical behavior! Trying to snipe a piece of property from long time clients...I'm happy to say that the neighbor still sold my parents the property. They also told us about what Paul Morris and Texas Bank did. SHAME ON YOU!

Friendly staff, they will not help you much if you don't have an account there you can't buy a money order, I know a few ppl with accounts there and they are very happy with this bank
