Comments are for the Hereford, TX store. We are in the local Dollar General every 2-3 months or more depending on what we are looking for and what we see in the ad. Nearly every time we are in there we see unopened boxes of merchandise stacked up on many aisles. We realize that the main problem is not enough employees and most of the time it may be only 1 or 2. But today, Sept. 1, 2022, things were worse. The store had a very dirty look and shelves were in a mess! Found what was needed for home quickly, checked out as soon as a cashier came to the front. (They need a bell at the registers, so people could notify the cashier.) Anyway, hard to believe that store was so messy!!John & Beverly Curtis

Every time we go in the manager is always Cursing at the employee’s!!! Always talking about the customers when they leave the store!! Always talking real loud about all her boyfriends & who she’s going to sleep with next (so they can pay her bills coming from her own mouth) so everyone can hear!! I’m surprised she’s still the manager after stealing from every job she has including her store 4 of her employees have said so!!! The store is always dirty wonder how her house looks

I have ordered multiple times online and my order gets cancelled due to out of stock so I decided to visit the store that evening and there was the items I needed, when asking the cashier about my order and how it had been cancelled she acted like she knew nothing and avoided the question…..so messy, definitely needs to be moved to a bigger place. Love their prices, but they need to really clean it up and raise the pay for their employees! I believe the pay is why they are short staffed! I asked about the pay and at $8/hour I would also be looking for another job! Hopefully the company can look into it and give them a raise!
