CTFK is an a terrific program to have your kids in. Respect and discipline are a key tool for children to become successful adults and it is first and forefront in this program. This is a great place to learn Jiu-jitsu because the instructors are great. It is a good workout and the upper belts are always willing to give advice and help you get better. Central Texas Family Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also a great, fun place to work. Highly recommend this Martial Arts School!

This is a wonderful place for children and adults (I took classes as a 23 year old female) to have fun while learning discipline, respect, and self defense skills.The staff is very caring, professional, and organized.
Our program began in 1992 in Austin, TX by Grandmaster Michael J. Bainton, Ph.D. with a focus on responsibility to family and education first, and through martial arts we help build these values in our students. Central Texas Family Karate started in 2007 in Hewitt, TX. Although our schools are very well rounded and include striking, kicking, forms/ kata, weapons, self defense and ground fighting, our focus at Central Texas Family Karate is building good citizens first and world class martial artists second. Your child will be taught and mentored by a Martial Arts Hall of Fame instructor on a daily basis, helping them achieve their highest potential in the martial arts.
