After spending thousands of dollars with LMR—and not on cheap parts—I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled.
I recently purchased KYB adjustable rear shocks, received them, and installed them. A few days later, I went back to order the matching front shocks, which were listed as in stock, so I placed the order. Then, on the 19th, I was told they were either misplaced or actually out of stock. At that point, the rears were already installed.
I ordered these specifically so everything would match—same brand, same adjustability, same color (red). Now I’m stuck with rears installed and no matching fronts.
For context, I’ve also recently purchased a full transmission and many other parts from LMR, and I even have a Foxbody that I’ve bought shocks and struts for through them as well.
On a separate occasion, I did receive the incorrect shocks/struts for the Foxbody. I’ll own that I waited too long to call about the return—but when I finally did, the response I got was essentially, “We can’t do anything, maybe sell them on Facebook Marketplace.” That’s not the kind of customer service you expect after being a loyal customer.
When I called about this current issue, I asked if LMR could meet me halfway—specifically, to price the Koni non-adjustable fronts at the same price as the KYB adjustables I originally ordered. The KYBs were about $334, and the Konis are around $360. I wasn’t asking for anything crazy—just to keep things fair since this situation wasn’t caused by me.
Instead, I was told nothing could be done and was offered a 6% discount, which honestly felt insulting given the circumstances. Now I’m stuck with mismatched shocks, different colors (red vs. orange), and losing the adjustability I paid for.
I’ve spent a lot of money with LMR and expected better support. This experience seriously makes me rethink continuing to do business with them.

And they care about their product. Their R&D is exceptional.
I’ve bin using LMR for 5 years. Can’t complain.

I have used these guys since early 2000's and i'm a little disappointed in their customer service. I have noticed they do not send random coupon codes anymore no matter how much you spend and the little things like that matter to customers. I don't care if you are rich, avg or poor but yet they want you to review their items which does take our time to do that. I called them just a sec ago and spoke with truman yes i will drop his name and i don't care, anyways i spoke to him about coupon codes and he was like ya we just don't do it anymore which sounded suspious and i politely asked him hey i'm fixing to place an 800 dollar order with you guys do you have a code i could possibly have every little bit counts i don't care if it is 5 bucks 20 bucks whatever, his answer to me was maybe black friday will offer something but no, haha just really sad IMO, so in the future i'm probably going to shift to some place else that actually cares about what customers spend and do for them.

Have ordered a lot of stuff for my project (93 cobra restoration) Ordered a replacement carpet that was so far off from the factory color there is no way I could use it. After reaching out to support they simply cut and paste their answers from the website to respond. They are making me pay shipping for a product that I cannot use. I will search elsewhere for product I guess, It's unfortunate because they were recomended to me from someone.

Jacob provided me with great customer service. I had some issues with a purchase of some headlight rubber surroundings and he took care of me. Lmr is a great company. Excellent parts and prices and excellent customer service to back it all up. I will continue to shop with them even though I have NPD national parts depot right up the street from me because I live in Ocala. They could not provide the service that LMR provided me.

I ordered floor mats for my '93 mustang...beautiful, high quality mats, 5 stars. Also ordered blue LMR interior paint and the cleaner /primer LMR recommended. Paint does not adhere to the tan door arm rests also purchased from LMR. Very costly mistake. 0 stars.

Since 2011, I have been a loyal customer of LMR, consistently purchasing parts and spending thousands of dollars. My orders have always arrived on time until recently. On May 23rd, I placed an order for ignition coils. My previous experience with Accel brand coils (purchased in 2019 from Pep Boys and again in 2021 from AutoZone) indicated a lifespan of approximately four years, necessitating replacements at 130,000 and 180,000 miles. This time, I opted for MSD coils from LMR. My order, placed on May 23rd with an expected delivery of May 30th, has yet to arrive. Given my extensive purchase history and substantial spending with LMR, I expect a higher level of service. I urge LMR to rectify this situation promptly; otherwise, I will be forced to reconsider my business relationship, a decision I would greatly regret given my past positive experiences.

I used to buy items from this company and tried again last month. No issues with the shipping but once you tried to return an item, that’s another story. They want you to pay for shipping to return the item and if you use a different packaging box, they will charge you a restocking fee. Should have learned my lesson and stay with the other Mustang part store.

While they may have some parts that are more difficult to find, their customer service need enough improvement that we are not coming back. We can easily go to other vendors that actually care about their customers and do not treat people rudely.
Update: Look at my name and look closer at your records.You do have documentation that we have been in contact with you.
